Study of Erythropoietin (EPO) Administration Schedule
Chronic Renal FailureAnaemiaThe purpose of this study is to compare the hemoglobin and hematocrit variability between once and three times weekly erythropoietin therapy for the anemia in patients with maintenance dialysis.
European Trial of Free Light Chain Removal by Extended Haemodialysis in Cast Nephropathy
Multiple MyelomaCast Nephropathy1 moreHypothesis: Free light chain removal haemodialysis will increase the rate of renal recovery in patients with cast nephropathy, severe renal failure and de novo multiple myeloma. This study will randomise patients with multiple myeloma and severe renal failure to treatment to remove free light chains by haemodialysis or not.
Contrast-medium Induced Nephrotoxicity in Patients Undergoing Coronary Angiography - Iodixanol Versus...
Chronic Renal InsufficiencyCoronary AngiographyIn the treatment of coronary heart disease which is the major cause of heart attack, direct mechanical treatment with catheters such as the coronary angiography, coronary balloon intervention and stenting intervention are the mainstay of therapy in recent years. In that procedures, the investigators should use the contrast media, and it may cause kidney toxicity especially in the patients with underlying kidney disease and decreased kidney function. The investigators intended to find out which contrast agent has less kidney toxicity in the catheter based treatment of coronary arterial diseases in patients with underlying decreased kidney function
Pharmacokinetics of MK-3682B in Participants With Moderate to Severe Renal Insufficiency (MK-3682B-030)...
Hepatitis CThe purpose of this study is to compare the plasma pharmacokinetics (PK) of single doses of MK-3682B, a fixed dose combination (FDC) tablet containing uprifosbuvir (MK-3682) + grazoprevir (MK-5172) + ruzasvir (MK-8408) in participants with moderate (Part 1) and severe (Part 2) renal insufficiency (RI) to plasma PK in healthy participants.

Renal InsufficiencyThis study will assess the pharmacokinetics in subjects with severe renal insufficiency and healthy subjects.
Genetic Predictors of Renal Dysfunction Following Heart Transplantation
Heart TransplantationChronic Renal InsufficiencyKidney disease is a common problem after heart transplantation. It may be caused by anti-rejection medications such as cyclosporine or tacrolimus. However, the reason why some people develop kidney problems after a heart transplant, but other people do not, is not fully known. This study plans to learn more about the relationship between a person's genetic make-up (DNA; deoxyribonucleic acid) and the risk of kidney problems after a heart transplant. The long-term goal of this research is to identify genetic variations that may help predict the development of kidney problems after heart transplantation.
