Multi- Level and Integrated Analysis of Mechanisms Underlying Atrial Dysfunction
Ischemic Heart DiseaseIntegrated and cross-disciplinary analysis of human physiology and disease provides unbiased and deeply informative insights into human health and disease. In this study the investigators will recruit patients undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery to study the atrium of the heart or the aortic wall that when diseased can cause strokes. Hypothesis: Systems-level analysis of the left atrium and aorta cells that integrates imaging, histological, cellular and molecular data will identify new mechanism for cardiovascular form and function.
Endothelial Dysfunction Evaluation for Coronary Heart Disease Risk Estimation in Rheumatoid Arthritis...
Rheumatoid ArthritisCoronary Heart DiseaseTo evaluate the contribution of the assessment of endothelial dysfunction (ED) in improving coronary hearth disease (CHD) risk stratification obtained by the Framingham risk score (FRS) in rheumatoid arthritis population (RA).
Delayed Plaque Morphology in Patients With STEMI After Thrombus Aspiration During Primary PCI
Coronary Artery DiseaseMyocardial InfarctionThe purpose of this study is to characterize the plaque morphology in patients with acute STEMI by OCT after aspiration thrombectomy.
Cardiac Biomarkers After Marathon Running and Coronary Atherosclerosis
Coronary Artery DiseaseThis study evaluates cardiac biomarkers and their association to coronary artery disease in marathon runners.
Quantification of NLRP3 (rs4612666) and CARD8 Gene (rs2043211) in Generalized Chronic Periodontitis...
Periodontal DiseasesCoronary Artery DiseaseQuantification of NLRP3 (rs4612666) and CARD8 (rs20432111) will be analysed in the subgingival plaque and blood samples of generalized chronic periodontitis with and without coronary heart disease. The demographic and the periodontal parameters were assessed and correlated with the quantification of NLRP3 (rs4612666) and CARD8 (rs2043211) was analysed with RT-PCR
The Cerebral-Coronary Connection (C3) Study
Ischemic Heart DiseaseMicrovascular Coronary Artery Disease3 moreThis is a prospective cohort blinded study with the aim to investigate the prevalence and clinical impact of coronary microcirculatory dysfunction (CMD) in patients with ischemic heart disease, and its association with cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) and depressive disorders. In addition, CMD and CSVD linkage to systemic inflammation and endothelial function will also be investigated.
Epicardial Fat Tissue and Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Diabetic vs Non Diabetic Patients...
Epicardial Fat Tissuecorrelation between EFT volume measured by Cardiac MRI and the angiographic severity of coronary artery disease (Syntax Score) in diabetic vs non diabetic CAD population and detect if there is a cut off value for each group that could predict higher risk.
Early Outcome of Total Arterial Revasclarization in IHD
Ischemic Heart DiseaseComplete arterial coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is a surgical option to improve long-term results in the treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD). The goal of coronary artery bypass operations is complete revascularization and there is an increasing interest toward complete arterial revascularization to achieve this goal because of high late failure of saphenous vein graft
Multi-Center Evaluation of Feasibility of SPECT Measurement of Myocardial Blood Flow and Reserve...
Coronary Artery DiseasePatients will be recruited from those referred to the local site's Diagnostic Imaging Department for SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) ,who have an intermediate to high pre-test likelihood of disease (Diamond-Forrester criteria ≥ 30%) and are clinically indicated to have an MBF study.
Comparison of the Severity of Coronary Atherosclerosis With Tissue Compliance in Patients Within...
Coronary Artery Disease With Myocardial InfarctionThis study research the similarity of coronary artery lesions according to HLA tissue compatibility in fisrt degree relatives of the patients who just admitted clinic as Acute coronary syndrome and underwent angiyography before .
