Routine Surgical Procedures During COVID-19 Pandemic: a French Nationwide Cohort Study
SurgeryCataract5 moreDetermine the consequences of COVID-19 pandemic on routine targeted surgeries. Five surgical procedures were considered : cataract surgery, hip and knee arthoplasties, coronary revascularisation by angioplasty and definitive cardiac stimulation. The objective of the study is to quantify changes of these procedures in 2020 and in 2021 (up to June) compared to 2019 taking into account their annual evolution and according to the type of operation (primary or reoperation/revision) and emergency status, if applicable.
Visual Function in Pediatric Patients With Posterior Lens Opacities
Congenital Cataract Polar PosteriorPrognostic factors determining visual outcomes in patients with posterior polar cataracts and posterior lenticonus are largely unknown. In this trial, the investigators aimed to evaluate the visual outcomes in patients with posterior polar cataracts and posterior lenticonus and try to find out the factors associated with the visual acuity after surgery. Patients enrolled in this study will be followed for at least 6 months and will have study visits at 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month postoperatively.
Visual Outcomes of Vivity in Patients With High Axial Length
CataractThe objective is to assess the visual outcomes and quality of vision of patients receiving the AcrySof® Vivity Intraocular lens (IOL), when implanted in eyes with high ocular axial length (≥24.5mm), after uneventful cataract surgery.
Satisfaction With Multifocal vs Accommodating Lens Implants 2 Years After Surgery
CataractThis study will examine patient satisfaction and spectacle independence using a survey in patients who have undergone uncomplicated cataract surgery with a presbyopia-correcting lens at least 2 years prior to administration of the survey.
