To estimate the survival rate of patients with refractory or relapsed ALL treated with risk-directed therapy.

Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as oxaliplatin and irinotecan, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Oxaliplatin may help irinotecan kill more cancer cells by making cancer cells more sensitive to the drug. Giving oxaliplatin together with irinotecan may kill more cancer cells.

PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying how well giving chemotherapy together with radiation therapy works in treating patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia that has relapsed in the CNS and/or testes.

Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) and giving monoclonal antibody therapy with chemotherapy may kill more cancer cells
