Study Evaluating The Pharmacokinetics (PK) And Safety Of Bosutinib In Subjects With Liver Disease...
Breast CancerLeukemia2 moreThe purpose of this study is to assess the pharmacokinetics of bosutinib and the safety and tolerability of bosutinib in healthy subjects and subjects with liver disease.
Imatinib Standard Dose (400 mg/Day) Versus Imatinib High Dose (800 mg/Day)
Chronic Myeloid LeukemiaThis is a phase III multicenter, open-label study designed to investigate the efficacy (hematological response, cytogenetic response and molecular response) and feasibility (tolerance, compliance and safety) of the tyrosine kinase inhibitor imatinib mesylate (formerly STI 571, GLIVEC, Novartis Pharma) at conventional dose (400 mg/daily) if compared with high dose (800 mg/daily) (serial number protocol ICSG/CML/022) in patients with Ph+ chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in chronic phase (CP) previously untreated, at high Sokal risk.
Bosutinib Treatment Extension Study Only For Subjects With Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) Who Have...
Chronic Myeloid LeukemiaThe objective of the study is to provide long term access to bosutinib treatment and assess long term safety, tolerability and duration of clinical benefit, without any formal hypothesis testing; therefore, there is no formal primary endpoint.
Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Targeted Therapy Fatigue (CBT-TTF) Intervention
Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaThe purpose of this study is to evaluate Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Targeted Therapy Fatigue (CBT-TTF) with fatigued chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) patients on tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) for feasibility, acceptability and potential efficacy relative to usual care only in a small-scale randomized controlled trial.
Validation of Digital-PCR Analysis Through Programmed Imatinib Interruption in PCR Negative CML...
Chronic Myeloid LeukemiaThe purpose of this study is to assess the capability of the dPCR technique to predict the absence of disease relapses after imatinib discontinuation in CML patients with negative Q-RT-PCR results for longer than 18 months.
Targeting Leukemic Stem Cell Expressing the IL-1RAP Protein in Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)...
Chronic Myeloid LeukemiaThe tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy (iTKs) is the first-line treatment of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). Its effectiveness in controlling the progression of the disease is such that it is possible today to consider stopping treatment in patients with deep molecular response (> RM4.0). Only in about 50% of cases, patients relapse. It has been shown in these patients that hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are persistant, quiescent and insensitive to iTKs. These cells are probably at the origin of relapse. It is therefore necessary to develop complementary therapies to cure the disease and consider discontinuation iTKs The development of anti-tumor immunotherapy approach using genetically modified T cells to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and specifically targeting CML CSH + could address this issue. The membrane expression of the IL-1-RAP protein could be an interesting target.
A Mobile Intervention (txt4TKI) for the Improvement of Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor Management in Patients...
Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaBCR-ABL1 Positive1 moreThis trial studies the feasibility and acceptability of a mobile intervention called txt4TKI for the improvement of tyrosine kinase inhibitor management in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia. Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI) are associated with numerous potential side effects, including a decrease in bone marrow activity (myelosuppression), nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, and soft-tissue swelling (edema), especially in the face and lower legs, which are the primary reasons for patients to discontinue TKI medication. Using a mobile text messaging (TXT) intervention that emphasizes the importance of TKI compliance may improve TKI adherence in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia.
A Distress Reduction Intervention for Patients With BCR-ABL-Negative MPNs or CML on Tyrosine Kinase...
Myeloproliferative NeoplasmChronic Phase Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia1 moreThis trial looks at how well a distress reduction intervention, called "Being Present", works to improve the quality of life of patients with BCR-ABL-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) or chronic phase chronic myeloid leukemia (CP-CML) who are taking tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and their caregivers. Mindfulness meditation is the practice of repeatedly bringing attention back to the immediate experience and may help people cope with various types of illness, stress, and worry. This may help patients and caregivers to gradually learn to disconnect from reacting to and dwelling on the past and future and instead fully experiencing the present moment.
Compliance: Role Emerges for Success in Chronic Myelogenous Leukaemia (CML): Evaluation aND Optimisation...
Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)This study on patient's compliance in clinical workaday life aims to assess and to improve CML treatment in Germany by means of adherence supporting measures and to increase adherence awareness by physicians and patients.

Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAcute Undifferentiated Leukemia88 moreThis clinical trial studies massage therapy given by caregiver in treating quality of life of young patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Massage therapy given by a caregiver may improve the quality of life of young patients undergoing treatment for cancer
