Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
LeukemiaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more cancer cells. It is not yet known which regimen of combination chemotherapy is more effective for childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is comparing different regimens of combination chemotherapy to see how well they work in treating children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Stem Cell Transplantation Compared With Standard Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Acute Lymphoblastic...
LeukemiaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining chemotherapy with allogeneic or autologous stem cell transplantation may allow the doctor to give higher doses of chemotherapy drugs and kill more cancer cells. It is not yet known whether stem cell transplantation is more effective than standard chemotherapy in treating acute lymphoblastic leukemia. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying how well stem cell transplantation works compared to standard combination chemotherapy in treating patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in first remission.
Total-Body Irradiation and Fludarabine Phosphate Followed by Donor Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplant...
Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia in RemissionChildhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Remission28 moreThis phase I/II trial studies whether a new kind of blood stem cell (bone marrow) transplant, that may be less toxic, is able to treat underlying blood cancer. Stem cells are "seed cells" necessary to make blood cells. Researchers want to see if using less radiation and less chemotherapy with new immune suppressing drugs will enable a stem cell transplant to work. Researchers are hoping to see a mixture of recipient and donor stem cells after transplant. This mixture of donor and recipient stem cells is called "mixed-chimerism". Researchers hope to see these donor cells eliminate tumor cells. This is called a "graft-versus-leukemia" response.
Combination Chemotherapy With or Without Donor Bone Marrow Transplantation in Treating Infants With...
LeukemiaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Giving the drugs in different combinations may kill more cancer cells. Bone marrow transplantation allows the doctor to give higher doses of chemotherapy and kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to compare the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy with or without donor bone marrow transplantation in treating infants who have previously untreated acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Study of Hyper-CVAD Plus Imatinib Mesylate for Philadelphia-Positive Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia...
LeukemiaThe goal of this clinical research study is to learn if intensive chemotherapy, combined with imatinib mesylate (Gleevec, STI571) given for 8 courses over 6 months, followed by maintenance imatinib mesylate plus chemotherapy for 2 years, followed by imatinib mesylate indefinitely can improve Philadelphia-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The safety of this treatment will also be studied.
T-cell Depleted Bone Marrow and G-CSF Stimulated Peripheral Stem Cell Transplantation From Related...
LeukemiaLymphoma2 moreRATIONALE: Bone marrow and peripheral stem cell transplantation may be able to replace immune cells that were destroyed by chemotherapy or radiation therapy used to kill cancer cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of T-cell depleted bone marrow and G-CSF stimulated peripheral stem cell transplantation in treating patients with leukemia, lymphoblastic lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, or aplastic anemia.

LymphomaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. It is not yet known which regimen of combination chemotherapy is most effective for lymphoblastic lymphoma. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying different regimens of combination chemotherapy to compare how well they work in treating children or adolescents with newly diagnosed stage III or stage IV lymphoblastic lymphoma.
Combination Chemotherapy, Bone Marrow Transplantation, and Radiation Therapy in Treating Infants...
LeukemiaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug may kill more cancer cells. Bone marrow transplantation may allow the doctor to give higher doses of chemotherapy and kill more cancer cells. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage cancer cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, and radiation therapy in treating infants with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Children With Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia
LeukemiaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Combining more than one drug and giving the drugs in different combinations may kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of standard combination chemotherapy treatment with more intensive combination chemotherapy in treating children with acute lymphocytic leukemia.
An Open-Label Study of JZP-458 (RC-P) in Patients With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)/Lymphoblastic...
Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaLymphoblastic LeukemiaThis is an open-label, multicenter, dose confirmation, and PK study of JZP-458 in patients (of any age) with ALL/LBL who are hypersensitive to E. coli-derived asparaginases (allergic reaction or silent inactivation). This study is designed to assess the tolerability and efficacy of JZP-458 (only in patients who develop hypersensitivity to an E. coli-derived asparaginase), as measured by asparaginase activity.
