Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation Using a Myeloablative Preparative Regimen for Hematological...
Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL)16 moreThis is a treatment guideline for an unrelated umbilical cord blood transplant (UCBT) using a myeloablative preparative regimen for the treatment of hematological diseases, including, but not limited to acute leukemias. The myeloablative preparative regimen will consist of cyclophosphamide (CY), fludarabine (FLU) and fractionated total body irradiation (TBI).
Study of Zanubrutinib, Obinutuzumab, and Venetoclax in Patients With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia...
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)Small Lymphocytic Leukemia (SLL)The purpose of this study is to determine the rate of minimum residual disease (MRD) negative response (i.e. the rate of no evidence of disease) of the study drugs, zanubrutinib, obinutuzumab, and venetoclax, given in combination as a treatment for CLL and/or SLL.
Efficacy of the Use of Bortezomib for the Treatment of Relapsed Leukemia or Positive MRD
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemiain Relapse2 moreVarious drugs have been added to different treatment regimens in order to improve the response rate in patients with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, however, it has been shown that adding Bortezomib to the relapsing regimen improves the proportion of second complete remissions without increasing chemotherapy toxicity. Therefore, proteasome inhibitors can drastically modify the prognosis of patients, since their synergy with drugs such as steroids has positioned them as an attractive strategy.
A Study to Evaluate Efficacy, Safety, and Pharmacokinetics of XEMBIFY® Plus Standard Medical Treatment...
HypogammaglobulinemiaBacterial Infections1 moreThe primary purpose of the study is to evaluate whether weekly administered XEMBIFY® plus Standard Medical Treatment (SMT) over a one-year period will reduce the rate of major bacterial infections per participant per year in participants with hypogammaglobulinemia (HGG) associated with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in comparison to the Placebo plus SMT group.
Targeted Busulfan, Fludarabine, Etoposide Conditioning Regimen for HSCT in Childhood and Adolescent...
Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaTo evaluate the outcome of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation using targeted busulfan, fludarabine, etoposide conditioning regimen in childhood and adolescent ALL.
Comparison of Triple GVHD Prophylaxis Regimens for Nonmyeloablative or Reduced Intensity Conditioning...
Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaAcute Myeloid Leukemia16 moreThis randomized phase II trial includes a blood stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor to treat blood cancer. The treatment also includes chemotherapy drugs, but in lower doses than conventional (standard) stem cell transplants. The researchers will compare two different drug combinations used to reduce the risk of a common but serious complication called "graft versus host disease" (GVHD) following the transplant. Two drugs, cyclosporine (CSP) and sirolimus (SIR), will be combined with either mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) or post-transplant cyclophosphamide (PTCy). This part of the transplant procedure is the main research focus of the study.
Imaging of Chemotherapy-induced Morphological and Functional Lung Changes in Childhood ALL and HD...
Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaHodgkin Disease1 moreWith increasing cure rates of childhood cancer there is growing recognition of late effects of treatments. However, there is a lack of non-invasive and child-friendly procedures that can indicate possible late damage. This study uses morphologic and free-breathing phase-resolved functional low-field (PREFUL) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to identify persistent pulmonary toxicity after treatment for childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), Hodgkin's disease (HD) and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Furthermore, cardiopulmonary testing is performed by means of a pulmonary function test, echocardiography with strain analysis and spiroergometry.
Anti-pneumococcal Vaccine Strategy in Patients With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaSmall Lymphocytic LymphomaThis phase II trial compares the effect of initial vaccination (PCV13 followed by PSV23) with yearly vaccinations of PSV23 to the standard 5 year vaccination in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. At present chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients are poorly protected by anti-pneumococcal vaccination. Current vaccination schedule for chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients is based on general recommendations in immunocompromised patients (initial vaccination with PCV13 followed by one dose of PSV23 after an interval of two months, followed by revaccination at 5 years). Giving patients frequent immunization as compared to 5 year immunization may result in higher protective titers in patients.
Low-dose Chidamide Maintenance Therapy After Allo-HSCT for T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia or...
T Lymphoblastic Leukemia/LymphomaClinical Study on the Safety and Effectiveness of low-dose chidamide maintenance therapy after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or T-cell lymphomas.
A Long-term Extension Study of PCI-32765 (Ibrutinib)
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaSmall Lymphocytic Lymphoma5 moreThe purpose of this study is to collect long-term safety and efficacy data for participants treated with ibrutinib and to provide ongoing access to ibrutinib for participants who are currently enrolled in ibrutinib studies that have been completed according to the parent protocol, are actively receiving treatment with ibrutinib, and who continue to benefit from ibrutinib treatment.
