Evaluation of Safety and Efficacy of Fludarabine, Cyclophosphamide, and Rituximab (FCR) +/- Lumiliximab...
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaThis is a Phase 2, randomized, open-label, multicenter study in subjects with previously untreated CLL. It is designed to evaluate safety and efficacy of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, rituximab (FCR) and lumiliximab versus FCR alone.
SCH 727965 in Patients With Acute Myelogenous Leukemia and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (P04717AM2)(TERMINATED)...
LeukemiaMyeloid3 moreParticipants with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) will be randomized to SCH 727965 or gemtuzumab ozogamicin. All participants with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) will receive SCH 727965. Part 1 of the study will determine the activity of SCH 727965 treatment in participants with AML and participants with ALL. Part 2 of the study will determine the activity of SCH 727965 treatment in participants with AML who experienced disease progression after standard treatment with gemtuzumab ozogamicin during Part 1.
A Phase 1-2, Multicenter, Open-Label Study of AEG35156 in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Chronic...
LeukemiaLymphocytic4 moreAEG35156 has shown early evidence of activity in patients with advanced indolent B-cell lymphomas in Phase 1 trials and merits further evaluation in this disease. This trial is designed to determine the recommended dose of AEG35156 in patients with relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and indolent B-cell lymphomas.
Pegaspargase and Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Newly Diagnosed Acute Lymphoblastic...
LeukemiaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying the side effects of giving pegaspargase together with combination chemotherapy and to see how well it works in treating patients with newly diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
A Study of Dasatinib and Rituximab for Relapsed/Refractory Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaThis is an open-label phase I/II study that will investigate the combination of dasatinib and rituximab therapy in patients with relapsed/refractory CLL. In phase I, eligible subjects will take either 100 mg or 140 mg of dasatinib daily along with rituximab on day 1 of each cycle for 6 cycles. In phase II, eligible subjects will all receive the same dose of dasatinib, as established in the phase I portion, along with rituximab on day 1 of each cycle for 6 cycles. The investigators hypothesize that the combination of dasatinib and rituximab will demonstrate efficacy in the treatment of patients with relapsed/refractory CLL.
Rituximab and Alemtuzumab in Treating Older Patients With Progressive Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia...
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaRATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab and alemtuzumab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer killing substances to them. Giving rituximab together with alemtuzumab may kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial is studying two different doses of rituximab to compare how well they work when given together with alemtuzumab in treating older patients with progressive chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Alemtuzumab + Rituximab Consolidation in CLL
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaLeukemiaThe goal of this clinical research study is to find out how well Campath (alemtuzumab), Rituxan (rituximab), or a combination of the 2 drugs may control Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) that is left after chemotherapy. The safety of these drugs will also be studied.
Rapamycin in With High-Dose Etoposide and Cytarabine in Relapsed/Refractory Aggressive Lymphoid...
ALLBurkitt's Lymphoma2 moreAssess the safety, tolerability and efficacy of rapamycin in combination with HiVAC in relapsed and refractory patients with aggressive lymphoid malignancies.
Dose Escalation Study of Revlimid With Fludarabine-Rituximab for CLL/SLL
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaSmall Lymphocytic LeukemiaThe purpose of this study is to determine the safety of lenalidomide (revlimid) in combination with fludarabine and rituximab and to determine the highest dose of lenalidomide that can safely be given in that combination. Lenalidomide is a drug that alters the immune system and may also interfere with the the development of tiny blood vessels that help support tumor growth. Lenalidomide is approved by the FDA for the treatment of two different blood cancers called myelodysplastic syndrome and multiple myeloma. Lenalidomide has also been studied in subjects with relapsed CLL. In this research study we are adding lenalidomide to a well-established initial therapy for CLL/SLL.
Early or Delayed Fludarabine and Rituximab in Treating Patients With Previously Untreated Chronic...
LeukemiaRATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as fludarabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Giving fludarabine together with rituximab may kill more cancer cells. Sometimes the cancer may not need treatment until it progresses. In this case, observation may be sufficient. It is not yet known whether giving fludarabine together with rituximab early is more effective than giving fludarabine and rituximab after observation in treating chronic lymphocytic leukemia. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying fludarabine and rituximab to compare how well they work when given early or after observation in treating patients with previously untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
