Haploidentical Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation for Acute Leukemias

LeukemiaMyeloid2 more

This is a prospective observational cohort study of haploidentical transplantation with post-transplant cyclophosphamide for acute leukemias using reduced intensity conditioning for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myeloablative conditioning for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

Non-interventional, Long-term Follow-up of Subjects Who Completed ApoGraft-01 Study

Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML)Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)3 more

This is a non-interventional, long-term follow-up study in subjects who received ApoGraft in study ApoGraft-01. Up to 12 subjects who completed ApoGraft-01 study will be offered to participate in this follow-up study. Subjects who completed ApoGraft-01 study and have signed informed consent for this follow-up study will be eligible to enroll. Subject will attend in-clinic visits up to 2 years post transplantation, and will undergo the following evaluations: acute and chronic graft versus host disease (GvHD) assessments, survival status (overall, relapse-free), disease status (disease relapse/recurrence), physical examination, safety laboratory and concomitant medication use.

Changes in the Gut Microbiota of Patients Undergoing Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation (COLLECT)...

Acute Myeloid LeukemiaGraft-versus-host-disease2 more

COLLECT is a monocentric, prospective, observational study, which aims to assess the association between changes in the intestinal microbiota and the incidence of gastrointestinal graft-versus-host diseases (GvHD). Patients admitted for performance of an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) or patients with a first diagnosis of an acute myeloid leukemia (AML) will be enrolled and stool samples will be analyzed using next-generation sequencing. In addition to stool, blood and urine samples will be collected for cytokine and 3-indoxylsulfate analysis. Exposure to drugs will not be influenced and remains at the discretion of the treating physician.

Italian Observational Study of Patients With Acute Myeloid Leukemia Treated With Small Molecule...

Acute Myeloid Leukemia

This is a multi-center retrospective observational study. Every patient with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) treated with anti-B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL2) treatment outside clinical trial from 1st January 2015 up to 01 April 2019 may be included in this study. No additional drug/procedures/patient visits in comparison with the usual clinical practice are planned for the study. The decision to treat patient with ant-BCL2 inhibitors is made by the physician based on his clinical judgment, independently from the decision to include the patient in this study.

Prognostic Values of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Patients With Allo-HSCT...

Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a genetically heterogeneous disease and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is a curative treatment option for AML except for AML-M3. Relapse remains the major cause of treatment failure after allo-HSCT. Molecular residual disease has been shown to be a strong risk factor for relapse after HSCT. In this study, the investigators will detect mutations before/after allo-HSCT by using next-generation sequencing (NGS) technique to measure residual disease and evaluate the prognostic impact of molecular residual disease in a cohort of AML participants receiving allo-HSCT.

Pre-hospital Risk Factors for Invasive Fungal Infection

Acute Myeloid LeukemiaAspergillosis2 more

SEIFEM 2010 study is a prospective, multicenter registry designed to identify and analyze risk factors for developing an invasive fungal infection in patients with newly diagnosed Acute Myeloid Leukemia, with particular interest on pre-hospital risk factors (i.e. those related to normal activities of daily life, such as occupation, location and type of residence, consume of tobacco, alcohol and others).

Genetics Study of Tissue Collected From Patients With Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Leukemia

RATIONALE: Collecting and storing samples of tissue and blood from patients with cancer to study in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that may occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer. PURPOSE: This laboratory study is looking at changes in the DNA of tissue samples that were collected from patients with acute myeloid leukemia.

Pharmacoeconomics in the Application of 5-azacitidine in the Treatment of Myelodysplastic Syndromes...

Myelodysplastic SyndromesAcute Myeloid Leukemia

The investigators want to compare the global response rate of patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) after six months of treatment with 5-azacitidine on two different doses. First group of 50 mg/m2 for 10 days each 28 days versus 75 mg/m2 for 7 days on 28 days cycles.
