Pediatric Acute Myeloid LeukemiaTreatment for pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) involves intensive chemotherapy regimens that result in periods of profound neutropenia leaving patients susceptible to severe infectious complications. Infectious complications are the leading cause of treatment related mortality among AML patients, but there are little clinical data to inform whether management of neutropenia post AML chemotherapy should occur in an outpatient or inpatient setting. Further, no studies have been conducted that assess the impact of neutropenia management strategy on the quality of life of pediatric patients with AML and their caregivers.

Pharmacogenomics Validation for Imatinib in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia
LeukemiaMyelogenous2 moreThis is a multicenter, retrospective, observational study to validate a pharmacogenetics model for imatinib metabolism and resistance in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia among patients in different independent cohort.

Biomarkers in Bone Marrow Samples From Pediatric Patients With High-Risk Acute Myeloid Leukemia...
Childhood Acute Basophilic LeukemiaChildhood Acute Eosinophilic Leukemia10 moreThis pilot research trial studies biomarkers in bone marrow samples from pediatric patients with high risk acute myeloid leukemia. Studying samples of bone marrow from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors identify and learn more about biomarkers related to cancer.

Study of Biomarkers in DNA Samples From Patients With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia or Acute Myeloid...
Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia With Inv(16)(p13.1q22); CBFB-MYH11Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia With t(8;21); (q22; q22.1); RUNX1-RUNX1T17 moreThis research study is looking at biomarkers in DNA samples from patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia or acute myeloid leukemia. Studying samples of DNA from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors identify and learn more about biomarkers related to cancer.

Nilotinib in Adult Patients With Imatinib-resistant or Intolerant Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in Blast...
Chronic Myeloid LeukemiaMulti-center, open-label, non-randomized trial to evaluate long-term safety and efficacy of nilotinib. Approximately 20 patients will be enrolled in this trial at 3 centers in Mexico, which means all ongoing patients participating on [CAMN107A2109] excluding discontinued patients. During this study, patients will receive nilotinib orally, at a dose of 400 mg b.i.d. Patients will normally receive nilotinib on an outpatient basis. This trial will have a maximum of 24 months of follow-up time.

Metabolic Changes in Blood Samples From Patients With Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Recurrent Adult Acute Myeloid LeukemiaUntreated Adult Acute Myeloid LeukemiaThis research trial studies metabolic changes in blood samples from patients with acute myeloid leukemia. Studying samples of blood from patients with acute myeloid leukemia in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about cancer and the development of drug resistance.

Development of Immunological Assays for the Evaluation of Tumor Antigen Specific Immunity
Ovarian Serous AdenocarcinomaUndifferentiated Carcinoma of Ovary5 moreThis study is a clinical study aiming at establishing immunological assays for the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of WT-1, Survivin and HPV16 E7-specific immune responses in cancer patients. Such a study will allow the development of suitable immunological tools to be used in assessing response in a subsequent phase I study aiming at evaluating therapeutic vaccine candidates targeting WT-1, Survivin and/or HPV16 E7-expressing tumors. In addition, this study will help defining the baseline cancer-associated immune responses in the selected patient population. Cervical and ovarian cancer patients, as well as leukemia patients, will be included in this study. WT-1, Survivin and HPV-specific immune responses will be monitored in these patients by ex vivo and cultured IFNg ELISpot as well as tetramer staining.

Expanded Access Program of Ponatinib
Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML)Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL)This protocol will allow expanded access of ponatinib to patients ≥18 years with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) any phase or Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ALL) who have failed all available treatment options.

Follow-up of the Persistence of the Complete Molecular Remission After Stopping Imatinib Chronic...
Chronic Myeloid LeukemiaIt's an observational study based on 98 patients included in the STIM trial to extend the monitoring of patients and to have molecular and clinical data, with long follow up. Are there late relapses? What has become patients who relapsed during STIM trial and restarted TKI (inhibitor tyrosine kinase) treatment?

CALLS: CML and Ph+ALL Low Level Mutation Prevalence Survey
Chronic Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAccelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia2 moreA multicenter, prospective cohort study of the mutation status of patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL) who are being treated with first or subsequent tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy in the UK, Ireland, or France.
