Spinal Decompression Therapy in Radicular Chronic Low Back Pain
Radiculopathy LumbarThe study design was randomized control trial and sampling technique was lottery method. After inclusion and exclusion criteria, sample populations were divided into experimental (group A) and control group (group B). Spinal decompression therapy in combination with core stability exercises were given to experimental group as intervention while spinal decompression therapy given alone to the control group. Assessment was taken on after 1st session, 4th session and 8th session of physical therapy intervention. Data were entered and analyzed by SPSS version 21.
Comparison of the Effectiveness of Ultrasound-guided Versus Radioguided Medial Lumbar Bundle Branch...
Chronic Low-back PainLumbar Facet Joint SyndromeIn adults with chronic low back pain, the investigators will compare the effectiveness of the medial bundle branch block on three lumbar levels (L3-L4, L4-L5 and L5-S1) performed either by radiographic guidance or by ultrasound approach according to a transverse approach. The objective of this study will be to evaluate the benefit of these both procedures on pain, on the practice of daily activities and the incidence of adverse events in order to show whether the two modalities are equivalent.
Evaluation of Safety, Tolerability, and Efficacy of CordSTEM-DD in Patients With Chronic Low Back...
Chronic Low-back PainDisc DegenerationThe purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of CordSTEM-DD, an allogeneic umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cell, as a cell-therapeutic drug in patients with chronic low back pain due to lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration.
Immediate Effect of Hamstring Stretching in Patients With Chronic Low Back Pain
Chronic Low-back PainThigh muscles flexibility deficits contribute to handicap in chronic low back pain patients. The study aims to evaluate the immediate effect of thigh muscles stretching in patients with chronic low back pain. The investigation team suppose that flexibility improvement could be detected by instrumented clinical measurements and such difference could be related to psycho-social factors evaluated by questionnaires.
Specific Modified Exercise Program for Low Back Pain in Racketlon Players
Sports Physical TherapyTo compare the effects of conventional exercise protocol and specific modified exercise program to prevent low back pain in racketlon players.
Effectiveness of Pain and Exercise Training With Telerehabilitation on Lumbar Facet Joint Arthrosis...
Facet Joint ArthrosisLow Back PainThe study investigates the effects of pain and exercise training via telerehabilitation method on pain, pain beliefs, trunk mobility, functionality, and quality of life in individuals with low back pain caused by facet joint arthrosis. Forty - five individuals are planning to include in the study. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the three groups: Group 1: Pain education + exercise training group, Group 2: Exercise training group, and Group 3: Control group. The same physiotherapist will make evaluations via an online conference system. Group 1 will have pain neuroscience education and progressive therapeutic exercise training in a session for six weeks, twice a week, and Group 2 will have progressive therapeutic exercise training in a session for six weeks, twice a week, for six weeks, in total twelve sessions. Group 3 participants will be taken to the waiting list. Clinical and demographic data of the 45 participants in the study will be taken pre and post interventions. The primary outcomes are; the Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) and the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Secondary outcomes are the Active Straight Leg Raise Test (A- SLR), The Pain Belief Questionnaire (PBQ), and the Short Form Quality of Life Form (SF-12). Statistical analysis will be run through the SPSS 20.0 package program.
Effects of Core Stabilization Training With and Without Pressure Biofeedback in Patients With Low...
Low Back PainMechanical low back pain is an impairment of musculoskeletal system. Lifetime prevalence of low back pain is 60-85%. Frequent micro-trauma to the structures of the spine, poor control and stabilization leads to LBP and eventually causes functional limitation. The objective of the study to find whether Core Stabilization Training with Pressure Biofeedback could reduce pain and improves functional activity in patients with mechanical low back pain. To study the effectiveness of Core Stabilization Training with Pressure Biofeedback in reducing pain and improving functional activity in subjects with mechanical low backpain between the age group of 25-40 years. To find out the effect of core stabilization training with pressure biofeedback in reducing pain and improving functional activity in subjects with mechanical low back pain between the age group of 25-40 years. The study will be conducted on 30 subjects between the age group of 25-40 years with mechanical low back pain and according to the inclusion criteria were recruited in the study. NPRS at rest and activity, Modified ODI will assess PRE and POST treatment. P value: less than 0.05 using SPSS (Statistical package for social sciences) for NPRS(pain at rest and activity) and modified ODI i.e. core stabilization training with pressure biofeedback had statistical improvement in NPRS (Pain at rest and activity) and modified ODI score. Core stabilization training with pressure biofeedback is effective inreducing pain (at rest and activity) and functional disability in subjects between the age group of 25-40 years with mechanical low back pain
Efficacy and Safety of Fixed-dose Combination of Etoricoxib/Tramadol vs Acetaminophen/Tramadol for...
Acute Low Back PainPhase IIIb, longitudinal, multicenter, randomized, open-label clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the fixed-dose combination of etoricoxib 90 mg and tramadol 50 mg compared with fixed-dose therapy of acetaminophen 325 mg and tramadol 37.5 mg for the management of acute low back pain.
Effectiveness of Therapeutic Exercise App Adding a Face-to-face Physical Therapist in Low Back Pain...
Low Back PainLow Back Pain (LBP) is one of the most usual illness in our society. Therapeutic Exercise (TE) has been shown the most effective and cheaper treatment in patients suffering LBP, but the lack of engagement to the therapeutic exercise programs is related with later acute LBP and chronic situations, despite symptoms slightly improve. The value of personalized therapeutic exercised programs in patients suffering LBP has been shown nowadays, improving symptomatology and quality of life. New technologies help patients to engage more in treatment, while time that health education make people "active patients". The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a Home Therapeutic Exercise Program (HTEP) based in an app with McGill's exercised adding 6 face-to-face sessions every 15 days with a physical therapist .
Comparative Study of Real-time Ultrasound-CT Fusion Imaging and Ultrasound-guided Selective Lumbar...
Low Back PainThe study is aimed at patients with low back and leg pain. The experimental group of patients underwent selective lumbar nerve root block puncture under real-time ultrasound-CT fusion imaging by sonographers, and the control group underwent puncture under the guidance of ultrasound alone by sonographers.
