The hypothesis is that pain biology education, combined with a rehabilitation program, reduces disability to 3 months, compared to conventional spinal physiology education.

Low back pain is a common condition affecting many individuals at some point in their lives.The prevalence of Non-specific low back pain (LBP) is between 4.2% and 19.6%, which is responsible for high treatment costs, sick leave, and individual suffering, in addition to being one of the main reasons for people to seek health care services. LBP prevalence increases linearly from the third decade of life on, until the 60 years of age, being more prevalent in women.This trial will be a prospective, parallel, double blinded, randomized, interventional clinical trial (comparing Myofascial Release and Joint Mobilization therapy). The patients will be screened by researcher and randomly allocated into either experimental groups. After recruitment, the person will be contacted for allocation so that randomization will be secured and concealed. The participants and therapist providing treatment will not be blinded but the assessor and the biostatistician will be blinded. The outcome measure tools for data quantification will be used i.e. Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanner to measure lumbar multifidis and transversus abdominis muscle thickness, pain pressure algometer to measure pain pressure sensitivity and Halo-digital inclinometer to measure range of motion of the lumbar region.Sample size of 45 will be calculated using G. power software with 12% attrition rate. Patientswill be randomly allocated in 3 groups (Group A, Joint mobilization: Group B, Myofascial Release: Group C, both joint mobilization and myofascial release: Common treatment, Heating for 15 minutes). Each group will receive 4 sessions of treatment in 2 weeks' period on Day 1st day 4th, day 8th and day 12th.Data will be collected on Day 1st; Pre and post-treatment, Day 4th, Day 8th,Day 12th; post treatment and after 1 month. Data will be analyzed with SPSS version.21. Study will be conducted in Al-Razi Healthcare, Shalamar Hospital and Riphah Rehabilitation Centre, Lahore, Pakistan. The duration of study will be 18 months after the approval of synopsis.

The management of chronic low back pain is now part of a multi-disciplinary set of proposals with the aim of adapting for each patient orientations of both medicated and non-medicated care. Very classically, analgesic treatment of stage I or II is of use, reinforced by the occasional use of NSAIDs in the absence of contraindication. In this medical attempt of the control of the pain associates a physical care (supervised exercises, physiotherapy care), cognitive and behavioral therapy, multidisciplinary care. Osteopathic treatment is a specific manual diagnostic and therapeutic procedure. This study aims to evaluate the relevance of providing osteopathic treatment in combination with classical medical treatment in the management of patients with chronic non-specific low back pain.

Evaluate opioid use and pain change in chronic Low Back Pain with DuoTherm Compared to Active Control

The investigators will recruit participants between the age of 18 and 65 with chronic non-specific low back pain and a sedentary lifestyle. The participants will be randomly assigned to one of the three groups. The first group is the control group, the participants will be asked to continue their daily routine. The second group is an intervention group, sedentary behaviour will be reduced. In the third group participants will be asked to increase their physical activity up to 150min/week. The intervention takes place over a period of 6 weeks. After the intervention the pressure pain threshold will be measured, average steps will be measured (accelerometer) and a questionnaire needs to be filled out. These results will be compared to the results before the intervention and to the results of the other groups.

This is a randomized, double-blind study comparing two different treatments for acute low back pain, oral ibuprofen and topical diclofenac. Participants will be randomized to one of three study arms: 1) Oral ibuprofen + topical diclofenac; 2) Oral ibuprofen + topical placebo; 3) Oral placebo + topical diclofenac. We will determine outcomes 2 days later.

The purpose of this study in patients undergoing routine care epidural spinal cord stimulation (SCS) is to determine 1) whether SCS reduces arterial blood pressure (BP) in patients which chronic low back pain and hypertension, 2) whether higher baseline BP (i.e., hypertension) predicts reductions in pain following SCS, and finally 3) whether different SCS waveforms elicits stimulus-evoked compound action potentials (ECAPs) in spinal cord and at the cortex (electroencephalography, and magnetoenchphalography).

The present study proposes to evaluate the impact of a multidisciplinary biopsychosocial Telecare rehabilitation program at the functional level in people with chronic low back pain with major psycho-behavior maintenance. The hypothesis is that a personalized program combining remote psycho-professional and physical care by digital tools improves functional evaluation in these patients.

Discogenic LBP is the leading cause of disability worldwide. Eventhough other types of Chronic LBP are more common, 63% of all patients reporting to tertiary care hospital with LBP are discogenic in nature. However, immediate effects of kinesio-taping on pain and postural stability in discogenic low back pain has not been well documented in existing literature. This study is focused on immediate effects of kinesiotaping on pain and postural stability in persons with discogenic low back pain.
