In this randomised clinical trial, lumbopelvic manipulation group was compared with conventional therapy group. Tools used in the study are numeric pain rating scale ,oswestry low back pain index and rating of fatigue scale.

Effects of Myofascial Release Therapy and Endurance Training on Mechanical Back Pain

This study is a randomized clinical trial to determine the effects of myofascial release therapy versus endurance training of trunk extensor muscles on pain, disability and muscle endurance in patients with mechanical back pain. A sample of 24 patients will be taken and divided into two groups each with 12 patients. Group A will receive myofascial release therapy and conventional physical therapy while group B will endurance training of trunk extensors and the conventional physical therapy protocol. The conventional physical therapy protocol will include a hot pack, back care advice, and postural modifications. The session will be around 40 to 45 min for each patient with four sessions per week. A total of four-week treatment regime will be given to the patients and assessment of the patient's pain, disability, and endurance with NPRS (numeric pain rating scale), Rolland Morris Disability Questionnaire and Sorenson Test will be done at the baseline, after the completion of treatment at pre interventional and post interventional to observe the long-term effects. The data will be analyzed using SPSS.

In this controlled, follow-up study the effects of immersion in 42℃ radon, natrium, calcium, bicarbonate content thermal-mineral water on clinical parameters and quality of life of patients with chronic low-back pain is evaluated. The participants in the intervention group are treated with balneotherapy plus usual care, while in the control group only with usual care. The planned participants number is 120. Follow up period is 3 months.

This study was aimed to investigate the effectiveness of mulligan mobilization technique on balance, pain and functionality in patients with chronic low back pain and to compare it with exercise.37 patients aged between 18-65 who applied to Fındıkzade Medipol Hospital were included in the study. The individuals participating in the study were divided into two groups, 18 control and 19 mulligan groups, according to the randomization table. The intervention was performed 3 times a week for 4 weeks. Conventional physiotherapy and exercise program accompanied by a physiotherapist were applied to the control group, and conventional physiotherapy and mulligan mobilization technique were applied to the mulligan group. Conventional physiotherapy methods included ultrasound (US), Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), and hotpack. The patients were evaluated with TecnoBody Static Balance Device, algometer, electrogoniometer, visual analog scale, Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire before and after the treatment.

The aim of this study is to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of assisted sit-up exercise and swiss ball pikes on the treatment of pain and disability of postpartum low back pain. The current study will compare the use of assisted sit-up exercise and swiss ball pikes. The current study is novel in a way that there is limited literature about treating postpartum low back pain with physical strengthening exercises. These two methods will be employed to see if they improve ranges along with accompanying pain and disability.
