SYNERGY-AI: Artificial Intelligence Based Precision Oncology Clinical Trial Matching and Registry...

CancerMetastatic45 more

International registry for cancer patients evaluating the feasibility and clinical utility of an Artificial Intelligence-based precision oncology clinical trial matching tool, powered by a virtual tumor boards (VTB) program, and its clinical impact on pts with advanced cancer to facilitate clinical trial enrollment (CTE), as well as the financial impact, and potential outcomes of the intervention.

Iloprost in Preventing Lung Cancer in Former Smokers

Lung Carcinoma

This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of iloprost compared with a placebo in preventing lung cancer in former smokers. Chemoprevention is the use of drugs to keep cancer from forming or coming back. Inhaled iloprost may help prevent lung cancer from forming in patients who used to smoke and who have been found to have abnormal cells in their mucus.

Optimal Extent of Pulmonary Resection in Clinical Stage IA Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Stage IA Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

The investigatros hypothesized that selection of surgical procedure according to the pre-defined institutional decision-making algorithm will not compromise the treatment outcomes including overall survival and disease-free survival in participants with clinical stage IA non-small cell lung cancer. The purpose of this study is to determine the outcome of participants with clinical stage IA NSCLC treated by 3 types of surgical resection (wide wedge resection, segmentectomy, or lobectomy) according to the institutional decision-making algorithm The investigators are planning to enroll 1,000 participants who meet the pre-defined eligibility criteria over 5 years.

Dynamic Perfusion Computed Tomography in Patients With Localized Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Stage IA Non-Small Cell Lung CarcinomaStage IB Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma2 more

This pilot clinical trial studies the changes in dynamic perfusion computed tomography images before, during, and after stereotactic body radiation therapy in patients with stage I-II non-small cell lung cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body. Diagnostic imaging procedures, such as dynamic perfusion computed tomography, measure blood flow through tumors. Stereotactic body radiation therapy is a specialized radiation therapy that sends x-rays directly to the tumor using smaller doses over several days and may cause less damage to normal tissue. Giving dynamic perfusion computed tomography images before, during, and after stereotactic body radiation therapy may help better understand how radiation therapy works to stop tumor growth in patients with non-small cell lung cancer.

iCAGES-guided Precision Therapy for Cancers in Contrast to Standard Care or IHC-guided Theray

Lung CancerGene Abnormality2 more

This study prospectively evaluates whether the use of iCAGES (integrated CAncer GEnome Score) tool in guiding the treatment of advanced cancers is superior to current standard care or IHC-guided therapy in progress free survival (PFS),overall survival (OS),and improvement of life quality.

Clinical Trial of Lung Cancer Chemoprevention With Sulforaphane in Former Smokers

Lung Cancer

This research study involves taking an experimental anti-cancer dietary supplement called Sulforaphane (SF) or a placebo (product without any supplement content) over a period of twelve months in order to determine if it is a useful dietary supplement for prevention of lung cancer in humans. The main goals of this research study are: To learn about the effects of giving Sulforaphane (SF) to former smokers who are still at high risk of developing cancer due to their smoking history and whether or not their condition improves, stays the same or becomes worse after Sulforaphane (SF) is given. To learn whether Sulforaphane (SF) might reverse some of the lung cell changes associated with future development of lung cancer.

Clinical Effectiveness Assessment of VeriStrat® Testing and Validation of Immunotherapy Tests in...

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

The purpose of this study is to collect information about how a doctor uses the results of the VeriStrat® blood test to guide treatment for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Understanding how VeriStrat test results influence doctors' decisions and patients' outcomes may help doctors to better treat NSCLC in the future. This study will also look to establish whether new investigational tests can help better predict the effectiveness of certain medications for certain patients. These new investigational tests are only for research purposes at this time.

Panitumumab-IRDye800 in Detecting Cancer in Participants With Lung Cancer During Surgery

Lung CarcinomaMetastatic Malignant Neoplasm in the Lung3 more

This phase I/II trial studies the best dose and timing of panitumumab-IRDye800 in detecting cancer in participants with lung cancer during the surgery. Panitumumab-IRDye800 is a combination of the antibody drug panitumumab and IRDye800CW, an investigational dye that can be seen using a special camera. Panitumumab-IRDye800 may attach to tumor cells and make them more visible during surgery in patients with lung cancer.

Positron-Emission TomographyNon-small Cell Lung Cancer

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the diagnostic value of 18F-FDG PET/CT dynamic imaging in metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The investigators will collect dynamic 18F-FDG PET/CT scan and correlate the imaging findings with genomics and histopathological features of biopsy of primary or / and metastatic lesions in patients with newly diagnosed non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). At the same time, the investigators will evaluate the diagnostic value of 18F-FDG PET/CT dynamic imaging in differentiating multiple primary lung cancer from intrapulmonary metastases.
