The efficacy and safety of the neoadjuvant therapy of pembrolizumab+ ramucirumab

This phase Ib trial studies the side effects and best dose of telaglenastat hydrochloride when given together with osimertinib in treating patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer and a mutation in the EGFR gene. Telaglenastat hydrochloride and osimertinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

Nivolumab is now the standard of care for second-line treatment of advanced squamous or nonsquamous NSCLC regardless of the tumor's expression of PD-1L. CheckMate057 trial results showed that in unselected patients with advanced or recurrent nonsquamous NSCLC who had stopped responding to a platinum-based chemotherapy regimen, treatment with nivolumab produced significantly better overall survival during follow-up as long as 18 months, compared with a docetaxel-based regimen. But during the first 3 months on randomized treatment, 15 more patients died in the nivolumab arm than in the docetaxel arm. This quickly reversed during months 4-6 on treatment, when nine more patients died on docetaxel than on nivolumab. A post hoc analysis showed a trend to a higher risk for death during the first 3 months of nivolumab treatment among patients with poorer prognostic features, more aggressive disease, and low or no tumor expression of PD-L1. In addition, only a subgroup of patients benefits from nivolumab with response rates of 20% in unselected cohorts and 10% in low PD-L1 expression cohort. Strategies to render the tumor micro-environment (TME) more susceptible to anti-PD1 might include stimulation of anti-cancer immune responses by induction treatment with low dose chemotherapy. Given the potent immune-modulating effects and anti-tumor activity of cyclophosphamide and doxorubicin, Investigator propose a study of combining nivolumab with induction therapy with cyclophosphamide and doxorubicin for nonsquamous NSCLC with PD-L1 expression less than 10%.

This is a prospective one-arm, two-stage phase 2 trial of TVB-2640 in KRAS mutant NSCLC patients. 13 patients will be treated with a minimum of 1 cycle of TVB-2640 therapy over 8 weeks.

This prospective, single-center, randomized, controlled study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of sintilimab compared with docetaxel or pemetrexed as second-line treatment for patients with stage IV nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer with wild-type EGFR after failure with platinum-containing chemotherapy. Treatment may continue as long as participants are experiencing clinical benefit as assessed by the investigator, i.e., in the absence of unacceptable toxicity or symptomatic deterioration attributed to disease progression.

This is a clinical trial from Eastern Cooperative Thoracic Oncology Project (ECTOP), numbered as ECTOP-1004. Solid subtype, micropapillary subtype, vascular involvement, pleural involvement and low differentiation are high risk factors of post-operative recurrence for early-stage lung adenocarcinoma patients. The purpose of this clinical trial is to determine whether the widely used adjuvant chemotherapy strategy cisplatin/ pemetrexed is more effective than no further treatment for Stage pI lung adenocarcinoma patients with high post-operative recurrence risk - in terms of no dose related toxicities, premature treatment withdrawal or death.

This phase III trial compares the effect of bevacizumab and osimertinib combination vs. osimertinib alone for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer that has spread outside of the lungs (stage IIIB-IV) and has a change (mutation) in a gene called EGFR. The EGFR protein is involved in cell signaling pathways that control cell division and survival. Sometimes, mutations in the EGFR gene cause EGFR proteins to be made in higher than normal amounts on some types of cancer cells. This causes cancer cells to divide more rapidly. Osimertinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking EGFR that is needed for cell growth in this type of cancer. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving osimertinib with bevacizumab may control cancer for longer and help patients live longer as compared to osimertinib alone.

This is a Phase 1/2, open-label, non-randomized, 4-part Phase 1 trial to determine the safety profile and identify the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of INBRX 106 administered as a single agent or in combination with the anti-PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor (CPI) pembrolizumab (Keytruda).

People with non-small cell lung cancer are at risk for nutritional deficiencies. The purpose of this study is to find out what effects a nutritional product has on patient's response to immunotherapy or combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy. To do this, some of the participants will get the nutritional product and some will receive a placebo (a substance that looks like the study drug but does not have any active or medicinal ingredients). A placebo is used to make the results of the study more reliable. Participants will be randomized to any of the following treatment groups: - Group 1 (Experimental intervention): standard intervention of immunotherapy or combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy plus the experimental intervention nutritional product. Group 2 (Non-experimental intervention): standard intervention of immunotherapy or combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy plus the non-experimental intervention placebo product. Participants will take 5 capsules each day by mouth, starting on the first day of immunotherapy with or without chemotherapy and stopping upon completion of their immunotherapy with or without chemotherapy treatment. Participants will complete a diary of their nutritional/ placebo product intake and will undergo the following assessments: Physical examination. Height and weight. ECOG status (the physician will record the impact on the cancer on daily living abilities). Concomitant medications recording. Adverse Event Assessment Computed tomography (CT) scan.
