This study will determine the efficacy of clofarabine as measured by response rate in patients with aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma

The purpose of the research study is to learn whether external beam radiation can be used as a safe and effective treatment for patients with bulky (≥ 5cm) sites of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma prior to treatment with 90Y-ibritumomab tiuxetan (Zevalin).

PURPOSE: Randomized phase II trial to compare the effectiveness of two combination chemotherapy regimens in treating patients who have previously untreated aggressive stage II, stage III, or stage IV non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
