Objectives: A. Primary objective: 1 To assess the feasibility and the effectiveness of pediatric type therapy (augmented BFM) in patients age 12 through 40 with untreated precursor-B or T acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) or lymphoblastic lymphoma (LL). B. Secondary objective: To evaluate the prognostic significance of minimal residual disease in bone marrow samples at the end of induction and at the end of consolidation in this group of patients. To prospectively evaluate gene hypermethylation status in this group of patients. To prospectively analyze asparaginase activity and anti-asparaginase antibody formation in this population of patients.

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of donor natural killer (NK) cell therapy and to see how well it works when given together with fludarabine phosphate, cyclophosphamide, total-body irradiation, donor bone marrow transplant, mycophenolate mofetil, and tacrolimus in treating patients with hematologic cancer. Giving chemotherapy, such as fludarabine phosphate and cyclophosphamide, and total-body irradiation before a donor bone marrow transplant helps stop the growth of cancer cells. It may also stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. When the healthy stem cells from a donor are infused into the patient they may help the patient's bone marrow make stem cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Giving an infusion of the donor's T cells (donor lymphocyte infusion) may help the patient's immune system see any remaining cancer cells as not belonging in the patient's body and destroy them (called graft-versus-tumor effect). Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can make an immune response against the body's normal cells. Giving mycophenolate mofetil and tacrolimus after the transplant may stop this from happening.

The goal of this clinical research study is to find out how well the drug Zolinza (vorinostat) works in combination with the drug combination called CHOP (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone) to treat patients with untreated T-cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL). The safety of these drugs in combination and the best dose of vorinostat when given in combination with CHOP will also be studied.

RATIONALE: Aurora kinase inhibitor AT9283 (AT9283) may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of AT9283 in treating patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

This is a Phase I/II trial designed to study the toxicity and Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) of bortezomib in combination with BEAM (carmustine (BCNU), etoposide, cytarabine, melphalan) and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (ASCT) and to obtain a preliminary estimate of the response rate to this combination.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether anti-CD80 monoclonal antibody (IDEC-114) is effective in the treatment of follicular B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. This drug has never been studied in patients with lymphoma, however, it has been studied in psoriasis patients at various dose levels and schedules.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the combination of bendamustine and bortezomib in patients with indolent Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma or Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia is safe and tolerable.

Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as CCI-779, work in different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. This phase II trial is studying how well CCI-779 works in treating patients with recurrent or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Patients with multiple myeloma (MM) and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) will be mobilized with chemotherapy and G-CSF plus plerixafor (AMD3100). The purpose of this protocol is to determine if plerixafor given after chemotherapy and G-CSF mobilization regimen is safe, if it can increase the circulating levels of peripheral blood stem cells (PBSCs) by ≥ 2-fold before apheresis, and if transplantation with the apheresis product was successful, as measured by time to engraftment of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) and platelets (PLTs).

This Phase 1 study will determine the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of vinorelbine liposomes injection (VLI) in patients with advanced solid tumors, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, or Hodgkin's disease.
