Phase I/II Study of Abraxane in Recurrent and Refractory Lymphoma

LymphomaNon-Hodgkin1 more

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects, maximum tolerated dose, and effectiveness of paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation (nab-paclitaxel) in treating patients with recurrent or refractory Hodgkin or B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. More effective and well tolerated therapies are needed to treat patients with relapsed and refractory lymphomas. Nab-paclitaxel combines a chemotherapeutic agent with a protein which may increase the anticancer drug concentration in the tumor while reducing toxic effects in normal tissue and may be an effective treatment for lymphoma.

Phase I/II Study of hLL1-DOX in Relapsed NHL and CLL

Non-Hodgkin's LymphomaChronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

The primary objectives are to evaluate the safety and tolerability of hLL1-DOX, and to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) regimen (in terms of a dose and its associated dosing schedule). The secondary objectives are to obtain information on efficacy, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity, and to determine the optimal dose for subsequent studies.

Repeat Transplantation for Relapsed or Refractory Hematologic Malignancies Following Prior Transplantation...

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)5 more

This pilot phase II trial studies how well a new reduced intensity conditioning regimen that includes haploidentical donor NK cells followed by the infusion of selectively T-cell depleted progenitor cell grafts work in treating younger patients with hematologic malignancies that have returned after or did not respond to treatment with a prior transplant. Giving chemotherapy and natural killer cells before a donor progenitor cell transplant may help stop the growth of cells in the bone marrow, including normal blood-forming cells (progenitor cells) and cancer cells. It may also stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's cells. When the healthy progenitor cells from a related donor are infused into the patient they make red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can make an immune response against the body's normal cells (called graft-versus-host disease). Removing specific T cells from the donor cells before the transplant may prevent this.

Fenretinide in Children With Recurrent/Resistant ALL, AML, and NHL

Acute Myelogenous LeukemiaAcute Lymphoblastic Leukemia1 more

The purposee of this study is to determine the safety and dosing of Fenretinide when given continuously for 5 days, every 3 weeks, in pediatric patients with recurrent and/or resistant acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL).

Chemotherapy Plus Interferon Alfa Alone or With Radiation Therapy and Peripheral Stem Cell Transplantation...

Lymphoma

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Interferon alfa may interfere with the growth of cancer cells. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage cancer cells. Peripheral stem cell transplantation may allow the doctor to give higher doses of chemotherapy drugs and radiation therapy and kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy followed by interferon alfa alone or combination chemotherapy plus radiation therapy and peripheral stem cell transplantation in treating patients who have previously untreated stage III or stage IV follicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy of Lenalidomide as Maintenance Therapy After Completion of First-line...

Mantle Cell LymphomaNon-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

A study to evaluate the efficacy of lenalidomide as maintenance therapy after completion of first-line combination chemotherapy in patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who are not candidates for transplantation and have achieved partial response (PR) or complete response (CR). This study was prematurely terminated by the sponsor in light of new unpublished data that rendered the current design of the study no longer clinically relevant. A study design with the control arm of no active treatment was no longer appropriate. The termination of the trial was not based on any safety concerns in the study.

Optimized Donor Selection, Nonmyeloablative BMT for B-cell Lymphomas With Post-transplantation Cy...

LymphomaB-cell Lymphoma2 more

This phase II trial is studying how well giving fludarabine and cyclophosphamide together with total-body irradiation and rituximab works in treating patients with B-cell lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia who are undergoing an allogeneic (donor) bone marrow transplant. The type of bone marrow transplant is a less intensive or "mini" transplant using a relative as the bone marrow donor. The donated bone marrow stem cells may replace the patient's immune system cells and help destroy any remaining cancer (graft-versus-tumor effect). Patients undergoing this type of transplant often have more than one relative who could be a donor. The trial is also studying a new way of choosing amongst possible donors which might improve how the rituximab works.

A Trial of GS-9219 in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) or Multiple...

Non-Hodgkin's LymphomaChronic Lymphocytic Leukemia1 more

Multi-center, open-label, single-dose, dose-escalating Phase I/II study of GS 9219 in adult patients with relapsed or refractory CLL, NHL or MM. Patients will be enrolled into the study in sequential dose cohorts. Patients will be administered a single IV infusion of GS 9219 on Day 1 of a 21 day cycle and may receive a total of six treatment cycles based on toxicities and response. Patients who demonstrate disease progression will be discontinued from the study. Patients who, at the completion of six treatment cycles, tolerate treatment and show evidence of disease control (response or stabilization) will be eligible to continue receiving treatment at the same dose.

Multiple MyelomaLymphoma1 more

This Phase 2 study was designed to assess the safety and hematological activity of AMD3100 (plerixafor) in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) or multiple myeloma (MM) who were predicted to be unable to mobilize ≥2*10^6 CD34+ cells/kg within 3 apheresis days. Patients with NHL and MM were eligible to enter the study if they had undergone cyto-reductive chemotherapy, were to undergo autologous transplantation, and met the inclusion/exclusion criteria. The purpose of this protocol was to determine whether plerixafor in combination with Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) can increase the circulating levels of peripheral blood stem cells (PBSCs) in patients whose peripheral CD34+ counts remain low after treatment with G-CSF alone, whether it was safe, and whether transplantation with the apheresis product was successful, as measured by time to engraftment of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) and platelets (PLTs).
