VircapSeq Virus Detection in Sézary Syndrome
LymphomaT-Cell2 moreThis study will be using this technique, called "VirCapSeq-VERT" to analyze the white blood cells of patients with Sézary syndrome. This could provide the foundation for future studies looking to understand the role that viruses play in the origin of Sézary syndrome. This could have important implications for the future development of new and effective therapies for the disease.
Clinical and Pathologic Studies in Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Patients Receiving Antibody Treatment...
LymphomaNon-Hodgkin8 moreTo characterize the molecular and cell biology of the tumor cells in lymphoma. The mechanism of monoclonal antibody treatment by rituximab or epratuzumab will also be examined.
Clinical Evaluations and Laboratory Studies to Study the Disease Course in Patients With Cutaneous...
LymphomaRATIONALE: Gathering information about patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma over time may help doctors learn more about the disease. PURPOSE: This natural history study is collecting disease-related health information over time from patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
Infection Prophylaxis and Management in Treating Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Infection in Patients With...
Hematopoietic/Lymphoid CancerAccelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia155 moreRATIONALE: Infection prophylaxis and management may help prevent cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection caused by a stem cell transplant. PURPOSE:This clinical trial studies infection prophylaxis and management in treating cytomegalovirus infection in patients with hematologic malignancies previously treated with donor stem cell transplant.
Effect of Denileukin Diftitox on Immune System in CTCL Patients
Cutaneous T-cell LymphomaSezary Syndrome1 moreThis is a blood and tissue study to determine the effect of the drug called denileukin diftitox on the immune system cells that may be involved in patient response to their cutaneous t-cell lymphoma. Patients who are undergoing standard of care therapy with denileukin diftitox will be invited to participate. Blood and tissue samples will be obtained at baseline, day 5 and day 19 in up to the first 4 cycles of denileukin diftitox.
Analysis of Cutaneous and Hematologic Disorders by High-Throughput Nucleic Acid Sequencing
Cutaneous LymphomaOther Skin Disorders2 moreThe goal of this study is to identify genetic changes associated with the initiation, progression, and treatment response of response of cutaneous and hematologic disorders using recently developed high-throughput sequencing technologies. The improved understanding of the genetic changes associated with cutaneous and hematologic disorders may lead to improved diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic options for these disorders.
Mechanisms of Action of Photo(Chemo)Therapy in Skin Diseases
PsoriasisCutaneous T Cell Lymphoma9 moreThe molecular mechanisms of action of photo(chemo)therapy in skin diseases are investigated in this study. The phototherapeutic modalities employed include UVB (ultraviolet B), UVA (ultraviolet A), PUVA (psoralen+UVA) and/or extracorporeal photochemotherapy (photopheresis). The study will address whether and how photo(chemo)therapy affects specific biologic pathways in different skin disorders and search for predictive biomarkers.
In Vitro Evaluation of Immune Responses in Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL)
Cutaneous T-cell LymphomaSezary Syndrome1 moreThis is an in vitro evaluation of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma using patients' blood and tissue to evaluate immune responses related to identified tumor populations and dendritic/CD 8 cells.
Cell-free Circulating DNA in Primary Cutaneous Lymphomas
Mycosis FungoidesLymphoma2 moreTo evaluate the possibility of detecting cell-free circulating tumoral DNA in potentially aggressive primary cutaneous lymphomas, the investigator opted to search a representative tumor sample mutation in the blood of these patients, by digital PCR. Patients with mycosis fungoides, primary cutaneous T-cell lymphoma helper follicular phenotype and primary cutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, leg-type will be included and 4 blood samples will be collected during 12 months.
Collecting and Storing Tissue Samples From Patients With Rare or Cutaneous Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma...
Adult Immunoblastic LymphomaCentral Nervous System Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma11 moreThis research study is collecting and storing tissue samples from patients with rare or cutaneous non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Collecting and storing samples of tissue from patients with cancer to test in the laboratory may help the study of cancer in the future.
