T-cell Brazil: Prospective Collection of Data in T-cell Lymphomas Patients

T-cell LymphomaNK-Cell Lymphoma1 more

The designed study follows up on the previous one by the international T-cell project (Bellei et al,, 2012) and its purpose is to verify whether a prospective collection of data would permit access to more accurate information permitting a better definition of prognosis and investigation of more adequate treatment strategies for these neoplasms. The analysis of patients distributed in all five macro regions of the country and a comparison among them will provide a real picture of the disease in Brazil, limiting the bias probably found in the previous projects.

Whole Body PET-MRI in Paediatric and Adolescent Lymphoma

Lymphoma

Children and adolescents with Hodgkin lymphoma currently undergo multiple investigations including a separate PET and MRI scans during their treatment. Investigators want to investigate if a combined PET-MRI scan could give the same information. Children who join our study will have an extra scan twice during their treatment

Secondary Prognostic Index in RefrActory Lymphoma

Diffuse Large B Cell LymphomaRefractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

60% of patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma are healed after first-line treatment which whatever the age. For the remaining 40% of patients (relapses and primary refractories): 38% of patients will be cured with a 2nd line including an autologous haematopoietic cell transplantation for those under 65 years. for older patients who are not eligible for a autograft: only 70% of patients will be able to receive 2nd line treatment with rates response less than 50%. the survival rate in patients receiving 3rd line treatment or more is 15% at 2 years. Actually, no standard of chemotherapy is offered to relapsed or refractory patients after 2 therapeutic lines. Subsequent lines lead to hospitalizations for infectious complications or transfusions without clear clinical benefit with often an impacted quality of life. Palliative care is rarely offered as part of the treatment overall load.

Lymphoproliferative Disorders After Diagnosis of Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma...

Childhood Leukemia and Lymphoma

Lymphoproliferative disorders (LPD) are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in immunodeficient patients. There have been isolated case reports of patients with childhood ALL who developed LPD after ALL diagnosis, without undergoing stem cell transplantation, but data regarding such cases are limited. We propose here an international collaboration, to form a comprehensive database of children who developed LPD after diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma

Lymphoma in the Orbit

Ocular Adnexal Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue Lymphoma

Imaging techniques have considerably improved over the last decades and ocular adnexal lymphomas (OALs) nowadays can be detected. As major advances in immunophenotyping and molecular diagnostics in histology have been achieved offering an accurate diagnosis, the investigators would like to introduce that surgical biopsy of an orbital lymphoma becomes crucial for the possibility of a correct diagnosis and proper treatment. As radiotherapy accomplished great preciseness as well and OALs respond excellently to radiation, this therapy should be the treatment of choice in local defined lymphomas instead of blind treatment with steroids. Radiation results in great local control rates of 85% to 100% Trial with surgical intervention
