E-Compared-CH: Comparative Effectiveness Research on Internet-based Depression Treatment - Swiss...
Depressive DisorderMajorTo compare the clinical and cost-effectiveness of blended Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with treatment as usual (TAU) in Swiss patients in secondary care
Efficacy of Trial-Based Cognitive Therapy and Behavioral Activation in Treatment of Depression
Major Depressive DisorderMajor Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a mood disorder, highly prevalent in Brazil and in world. The treatments of choice are the psychotropic drugs of the class of antidepressants and Behavioral or Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). The aim of this study is to compare the efficacy of Trial Based Cognitive Therapy with the Behavioral Activation and pharmacotherapy in the treatment of MDD in a randomized clinical trial witch 96 patients with MDD,
Evaluation of the Safety of Adjunct Brexpiprazole in Elderly Patients With Major Depressive Disorder...
Major Depression DisorderThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of brexpiprazole as adjunctive treatment in an elderly population with major depressive disorder and an inadequate response to antidepressant treatment
Efficacy of Cognitive Behavioral to Hypnotherapeutic Treatment of Depression

Improving Therapeutic Learning in Depression: Proof of Concept
Major Depressive DisorderDespite advances in both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy for major depression, non-response and partial-response remain relatively common outcomes, motivating the search for new treatments. This study is concerned with the development of one such novel treatment, the augmentation of exposure-based cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) with d-cycloserine (DCS).
Low Field Magnetic Stimulation (LFMS) in Subjects With Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD)
DepressionDepressive Disorder4 moreThe purpose of this study is to compare the relative effectiveness of 20 and 60 minutes of Low-Field Magnetic Stimulation in relieving symptoms in patients with major depression who are treatment resistant.
Intra-nasal vs. Intra-venous Ketamine Administration
Major Depressive DisorderThe current study wishes to contribute to the applicability of the use of ketamine in a clinical setting by focusing on the efficacy of intra-nasal administration compared with the IV route.
Psychotherapy Plus: Combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy With tDCS
Major DepressionThe study will investigate whether cognitive behavioral psychotherapy (CBT) combined with prefrontal transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is more efficacious with regard to symptom reduction in depressed patients than CBT combined with sham-tDCS or CBT alone.
A New Treatment Approach for Major Depressive Disorder Based Upon Targeting Monoamine Oxidase A...
Major Depressive DisorderThe investigators will be looking at MAO-A density before and after seven weeks of treatment with an antidepressant and dietary supplement. MAO-A is an enzyme that breaks down brain chemicals that regulate mood. MAO-A density is elevated in patients with major depressive episodes (MDE) secondary to major depressive disorder (MDD). Many remain treatment resistant with common antidepressant treatments and we think it may be due to poor targeting of brain pathologies. We want to test if adding a dietary supplement may normalize MAO-A.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy Effect on Depression and C-Reactive Protein Levels After 8 Weeks...
Major Depressive DisorderThis study will investigate the efficacy of an 8-week course in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) by ;measuring change from baseline to completion of treatment at 8 weeks in terms of depression severity using the Hamilton Depression Ratings Scale. We will measure change in C-Reactive Protein, a measure of inflammation, over the same time period.
