Hypofractionated Image Guided Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Stage IV Breast Cancer...
Central Nervous System MetastasesInvasive Ductal Breast Carcinoma14 moreThis pilot clinical trial studies new ways to monitor the impact of hypofractionated image guided radiation therapy in treating patients with stage IV breast cancer. Radiation therapy uses high energy x rays to kill tumor cells. Giving radiation therapy in different ways may kill more tumor cells.
Gamma-secretase/Notch Signalling Pathway Inhibitor RO4929097 in Treating Patients With Advanced,...
Estrogen Receptor-negative Breast CancerHER2-negative Breast Cancer8 moreThis phase II clinical trial studies how well gamma-secretase/Notch signalling pathway inhibitor RO4929097 works in treating patients with advanced, metastatic, or recurrent triple negative invasive breast cancer. Gamma-secretase/Notch signalling pathway inhibitor RO4929097 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
RO4929097 And Exemestane in Treating Pre- and Postmenopausal Patients With Advanced or Metastatic...
Estrogen Receptor PositiveHER2/Neu Negative5 moreThis partially randomized phase I trial is studying the side effects and the best dose of RO4929097 when given together with exemestane and to see how well it works compared to exemestane alone in treating premenopausal and postmenopausal patients with advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Estrogen can cause the growth of breast cancer cells. Hormone therapy using exemestane may fight breast cancer by lowering the amount of estrogen the body makes. RO4929097 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving exemestane together with RO4929097 may kill more breast cancer cells.
Vaccine Therapy in Treating Patients With Metastatic Breast Cancer
Male Breast CancerRecurrent Breast Cancer1 moreVaccines may make the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells. This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of vaccine therapy in treating patients with metastatic breast cancer.
Suberoylanilide Hydroxamic Acid in Treating Patients With Progressive Stage IV Breast Cancer
Male Breast CancerRecurrent Breast Cancer1 moreThis phase II trial is studying how well suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid works in treating patients with progressive stage IV breast cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid may also stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth
Immune Response and Potential Booster for Patients Who Have Received HER2-pulsed DC1
Breast CancerHER2-positive Breast Cancer6 moreThe purpose of this study is to learn more about how to treat patients with a diagnosis of diagnosis of Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2/neu (HER-2/neu) positive breast cancer in the past, who were previously treated with HER-2/neu-directed dendritic cells (DC) vaccines. There is evidence that the use of anti-HER2 dendritic cell (DC) study vaccines could improve response to breast cancer therapy and be an important step in the prevention of recurrence. This study will use a Dendritic Cell Type 1 (DC1) vaccine which is a HER2-sensitized dendritic cell (DC) study vaccine. Dendritic cells are immune cells that can tell the participant's immune system to fight infection. This study vaccine will be made from the participant's blood cells collected from a procedure called leukapheresis.
Study on the Progress of Breast Cancer Cases in Males and the Assessment of Relapse Risk
Breast CancerMaleAn observational, Other Designs (OD) post-marketing, multicenter study, which will obtain retrospective data from male patients diagnosed with invasive breast cancer between 2000 and 2019 in the medical oncology departments of hospitals that are associated with Spanish Breast Cancer Research Group (GEICAM) (using information obtained from patient medical histories).
Neo-adjuvant Therapy With Anastrozole Plus Pazopanib in Stage II and III ER+ Breast Cancer
Estrogen Receptor-positive Breast CancerHuman Epidermal Growth Factor 2 Negative Carcinoma of Breast5 moreThis phase II trial studies how well giving pazopanib hydrochloride and anastrozole before surgery works in treating patients with stage II-III estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer. Pazopanib hydrochloride and anastrozole may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving pazopanib hydrochloride and anastrozole together before surgery may make the tumor smaller and reduce the amount of normal cells that have to be removed
Cediranib Maleate and Whole Brain Radiation Therapy in Patients With Brain Metastases From Non-Small...
Male Breast CancerStage IV Breast Cancer8 moreThis phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of cediranib maleate when given together with whole brain radiation therapy in treating patients with brain metastases from non-small cell lung cancer. Cediranib maleate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth or by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays and other types of radiation to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Giving cediranib maleate together with radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells
Lapatinib Ditosylate and Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Locally Advanced or Locally...
Male Breast CancerRecurrent Breast Cancer3 moreThis phase II trial studies how well lapatinib ditosylate and radiation therapy work in treating patients with locally advanced or locally recurrent breast cancer. Lapatinib ditosylate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Radiation therapy uses high energy x rays to kill tumor cells. Giving lapatinib ditosylate together with radiation therapy may be an effective treatment for breast cancer.
