Choroidal MelanomaIndeterminate Lesions

This is a prospective multicenter, group-matched study of patients with primary indeterminate lesions or choroidal melanoma who receive treatment with belzupacap sarotalocan (bel-sar; AU-011) and patients who are planned to receive standard of care (SOC) treatment with plaque radiotherapy (plaque) to compare the visual outcomes of AU-011 and plaque radiotherapy.

Validation of MMS Test for Cancer Monitoring

Colo-rectal CancerStomach Cancer2 more

The purpose of this study is the validation of MMS test to detect active tumor growth in different cancer types before and after therapy, as well as in the course of therapy and for subsequent relapse control compared to standard methods (clinical examination, imaging, tumor markers). It should be consider whether the MMS test has comparable diagnostic accuracy, and thus can replace more expensive or invasive procedures in future.

Use of Fiber-optic Probe for Non-invasive Diagnosis of Melanoma and Assessment of Impact of Ultraviolet...

Melanoma

This study is designed to collect information about melanoma using a research probe, a device placed only on the skin. This study will investigate whether using the probe to examine skin lesions could improve the accuracy of identification pre-cancerous melanoma lesions or to predict the risk melanoma in the skin of subjects. Ultimately, we would see this technique used routinely as a non-invasive device during subjects' skin examination to aid dermatologists to identify pre-cancerous (melanoma) lesions without taking tissue samples of the skin. Alternatively, this technique would, in the future, also be used to screen patients at risk for melanoma.

5-year Study to Track Clinical Application of DecisionDx-Melanoma Gene Expression Profile Assay...

Cutaneous Melanoma

The INTEGRATE Registry Study follows patients with cutaneous melanoma who have had the DecisionDx-Melanoma gene expression assay performed. Data will be collected through review of medical records from clinical visits with physician. The purpose is to document the clinical application of results obtained from the DecisionDx- Melanoma multi-gene assay and to track outcomes of patients for whom DecisionDx-Melanoma testing has been completed. Additionally the study will assess the health economic impact of DecisionDx-Melanoma testing as it relates to the Melanoma population.

Optical Coherence Tomography of Retinal Abnormalities Associated With Choroidal Nevus, Choroidal...

Ocular Melanoma

During regularly scheduled appointments, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is performed on consented subjects. The OCT is a new type of camera that takes very detailed pictures inside of the eye and deeper into eye tissues. Optical Coherence Tomography imaging of intraocular tumors may lead to improved diagnosis and monitoring of tumors within the eye.

Metastatic Melanoma

This was a retrospective cohort study using the MarketScan health care administrative claim databases: Truven Health Analytics' MarketScan Commercial Claims and Encounters; MarketScan Medicare Supplement and Coordination of Benefit. We conducted this analysis using the most recent available data from the MarketScan database at the time of analysis, which was 01 June 2018 to 31 December 2020. We initiated this analysis from 01 June 2018 as encorafenib + binimetinib (enco/bini) was approved for patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma with BRAF mutation at this time.
