Triple Negative Breast CancerThe prescription of neoadjuvant chemotherapy becomes a standard in women with HER2-positive or triple-negative breast cancer and allows a complete histological response (pCR) which represents a prognostic factor for survival. . The problem for patients who are not pCR is that they are currently receiving non-personalized adjuvant systemic treatment. The identification of biomarkers present in the residual disease would be a criterion to guide the choice of post-neoadjuvant adjuvant systemic treatment, in order to personalize it. At the present time, there is no published study describing extensively the immune micro-environment (ME) in breast cancer, whether before or after chemotherapy, nor its modification induced by chemotherapy. The team therefore propose to study in a retrospective and monocentric series, the modifications of the immune ME induced by a "standard" neo-adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with triple-negative CS, whether they are in complete histological response or not (n = twice 50). The main objective of this project is to describe the changes in the immune ME of triple-negative breast cancers induced by neoadjuvant chemotherapy for all patients (in pCR or not): Quantification of TILs and subtypes of TILs (CD4 and CD8) Expression of the three immune checkpoints that are PDL1, TIM3 and LAG3 Describe the organization of the immune system (immunostaining on the same slide of the PDL1, TIM3 and LAG3 immune checkpoints)

Breast CancerBreast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide, especially in developed countries. In developing countries, including South Korea, the incidence and mortality rate of breast cancer is rapidly increasing. One of the most important characteristics of breast cancer in South Korea, as well as in other Asian countries, is the younger onset of disease compared to Western. Medical treatment of breast cancer is evolving rapidly, incorporating immune checkpoint blockades and molecularly targeted agents. However, data and knowledge are still limited in terms of molecular characteristics of Asian breast cancer, compared to that of Western countries, and this remains a major hurdle for drug development in Asian breast cancer patients. Breast CancerBreast cancer (BC) is the most common cancer diagnosis among women and the incidence is increasing. Prognosis and treatment are dependent on the expression of estrogen receptors (ER) in the tumor. ER status is determined by immunohistochemistry (IHC) on biopsy tissue. The ER expression can change over time and be heterogeneous. The IHC score on ER expression is subjective and can lead to intra and inter observer variability. A new computer image analysis software that can give the exact percentage of colored tumor cells on sectional tumor cuts has been developed. It is also possible to quantify the ER expression non invasive by using the tracer 16α-18F-flour-17β-estradiol (FES) and in vivo positron emission tomography (PET) scans. FES-PET/CT has a high background activity in the liver which complicates the visualization of liver metastases. Theoretically, a new whole body parametric scan method makes it possible to distinguish background activity from uptake in liver metastases. Malignant tumors often have an increased perfusion, and previous studies have found that tumors with low metabolism relative to blood flow have the longest disease free survival (DFS). To the best of our knowledge, no previous studies have examined the correlation between ER expression and blood flow.

Breast CancerGenes are the "blueprints" for our bodies. Some people are born with an abnormal copy ("mutation") of a gene. These people may have a higher chance of getting a disease. Different mutations in different genes cause different diseases. Some women get breast cancer because they are born with an abnormal copy of a gene called BRCA1 or BRCA2. These women also have a higher chance of getting ovary cancer. Women with breast cancer and an abnormal copy of BRCA1 or BRCA2 also have a higher chance of getting a second breast cancer in their other breast. Because of this, women who might have a mutation may have genetic testing soon after their breast cancer diagnosis to learn about their risks of getting another cancer. Genetic testing may be done right after a woman has been diagnosed with breast cancer. It may also be done later, after surgery is done to treat the cancer. The investigators do not know when it is best to do genetic testing. The investigators are doing this study to try to understand whether women prefer testing before or after surgery. The investigator also want to find out how they feel about their choice later on, when their diagnosis in more in their past.

Breast CancerThe purpose of this prospective observational study is to evaluate the impact of preoperative breast MRI in patients with breast cancer selected for breast- conserving surgery. MRI is a more sensitive radiological modality than mammography and ultrasonography. Patients with small breast cancers are, based on conventional modalities, selected for breast-conserving surgery. If preoperative breast MRI reveal additional lesions in the breasts, and malignancy is confirmed histopathologically, this finding leads to a change of surgical method to mastectomy.
