Laser in Orthodontic Leveling and Alignment
Dental Malocclusionto evaluate the outcome of LLLT regarding leveling and alignment of the mandibular anterior segment.
Effect of Clear Aligner Attachment Design on Extrusion of Maxillary Lateral Incisors
Maxillary Lateral Incisor MalocclusionThe purpose of this research is to test which of four clear aligner attachment types is more efficient in extruding (erupting) maxillary lateral incisors vertically into correct position during orthodontic treatment.
Photobiomodulation of Orthodontic Mini-implants by a 635nm Diode Laser
MalocclusionAngle Class IIThe study aimed to estimate clinically an influence of 635nm diode laser on the primary and secondary stability of orthodontic mini-implants placed in a maxilla, to assess mini-implants failure rate (mini-implant loss) and to evaluate a pain level after the treatment. The randomized clinical split-mouth trial included 15 subjects, 30 implants (Dual Top Anchor System, Seoul, Korea) with a diameter 1.4mm and length of 10mm. Mini-implants were placed in the area of the attached gingiva between the second premolar and first molar teeth 2 mm below the mucogingival junction of both sides of the maxilla in 15 patients.
Comparison Between 2 Protocols for the Treatment of Class II Division 2 Malocclusion
Class II Div 2 Incisal RelationshipThe aim of this prospective study was to compare between two different treatment modalities of class II division 2; to start treatment in upper arch first until adequate overjet is obtained or to start in the lower arch first with removable anterior bite plane in upper arch.
Class II Correction Study Using the Invisalign System
MalocclusionTo demonstrate that growing teenagers which present up to full cusp Class II malocclusions can be treated using the Invisalign System.
Orthodontic Archwire Effectiveness Trial
MalocclusionThis study protocol is for a randomised clinical trial which aims to test two materials used as orthodontic archwire to compare FireWire archwires to Copper Nickel Titanium (CNiTi) archwires. Both professional and patient related outcome measures are to be used to fully evaluate performance.
Effect of Cyclic Loading (Vibration) on Orthodontic Tooth Movement
MalocclusionTo gather data indicating whether or not the OrthoAccel device speeds tooth movement in people who use orthodontics (braces).
Transfer Accuracy of Indirectly Bonded Orthodontic Braces With Different Transfer Trays
MalocclusionThe aim of this study is to comparatively investigate the performances of two different and widely used transfer trays during indirect bonding of the orthodontic braces.
Low-level Laser Therapy With a 635nm Diode Laser on Orthodontic Mini-implants Stability.
MalocclusionAngle Class IIThe study aimed to clinically estimate an influence of a 635nm diode laser on the primary and secondary stability of orthodontic mini-implants placed in a maxilla, to assess mini-implants failure rate (mini-implant loss) and to evaluate a pain level after the treatment. The randomized clinical split-mouth trial included 15 subjects, 30 implants (Dual Top Anchor System, Seoul, Korea) with a diameter 1.4mm and length of 10mm. Mini-implants were placed in the area of the attached gingiva between the second premolar and first molar teeth 2 mm below the mucogingival junction of both sides of the maxilla in 20 patients (13 women and 7 men; age: 32.5 ± 6.1 years).
Precision Orthodontics: A Comparison of Custom vs Traditional Bracket Treatment Efficiency
Dental MalocclusionThis investigational testing aims to target multiple investigations sites to examine treatment efficiency metrics using a completely digital and patient-specific bracket treatment system for the correction of malocclusions.
