Pembrolizumab vs. Observation in People With Triple-negative Breast Cancer Who Had a Pathologic...
Anatomic Stage I Breast Cancer AJCC v8Anatomic Stage II Breast Cancer AJCC v82 moreThe phase III trial compares the effect of pembrolizumab to observation for the treatment of patients with early-stage triple-negative breast cancer who achieved a pathologic complete response after preoperative chemotherapy in combination with pembrolizumab. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. This trial may help researchers determine if observation will result in the same risk of cancer coming back as pembrolizumab after surgery in triple-negative breast cancer patients who achieve pathologic complete response after preoperative chemotherapy with pembrolizumab.
Fenofibrate Role in Breast Cancer Patients
Breast CancerThe aim of the study is to assess the efficacy of fenofibrate in either reversing and/or preventing the development of PIPN in breast cancer patients treated with paclitaxel-based regimen. The primary outcome :clinical improvement of neuropathic pain and grade by 1-CT-CTCAE -VERSION-4 & FACT/GOG-NT-12 questionnaire and its effect on quality of life (QOL). The secondary outcome : the efficacy of fenofibrate in either reversing and/or preventing the development of PIPN via alteration of either Nerve growth factor (NGF) or/ and/( NFL).

Letrozole With and Without Simvastatin for the Treatment of Stage I-III Hormone Receptor Positive,...
Anatomic Stage I Breast Cancer AJCC v8Anatomic Stage II Breast Cancer AJCC v84 moreThis early phase I trial tests whether letrozole with simvastatin works better than letrozole alone to stop tumor cell proliferation in patients with stage I-III hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative invasive breast cancer. Letrozole and simvastatin may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. The addition of simvastatin to letrozole may be more effective at stopping the growth of cancer cells than letrozole alone.

RadiotherapyBreast CancerThis study is a multicenter, randomized, phase 3 clinical trial in patients with breast cancer, randomizing radiotherapy group (postmastectomy radiation therapy (PMRT)/whole breast irradiation plus regional radiotherapy (WBI+regional RT) versus and no PMRT/WBI alone group. This is a non-inferiority study aiming that there is no significant difference in the 7-year disease-free survival rate between the two groups.
