Study of Prediction of Ovarian Reserve in Yong Breast Cancer Patients Treated With Chemotherapy...
Breast CancerThe purpose of this study is to predict the ovarian reserve, especially premature ovarian insufficient (POI), in young breast cancer patients during chemotherapy treatment using ultrasensitive anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) detection method.
Evaluation of Innovative Therapeutic Approaches of Vaginal and Sexual Dysfunction After Breast Cancer...
Breast CancerMany studies have shown that locoregional treatment (surgery, radiotherapy) and systemic treatment (endocrine therapy and chemotherapy) for breast cancer (BC) may impact sexuality by causing physical and/or psychological damages. Approximately 50-75 % of BC survivors suffer from vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA). The earliest symptoms of VVA are decreased vaginal lubrication, followed by other vaginal and urinary symptoms, such as burning, itching, bleeding, leucorrhoea, dyspareunia and dysuria symptoms. Various surveys have shown that VVA symptoms lead to female sexual disorder and on their partners through sexual unsatisfactory. However, it appears that sexuality is a little discussed topic during the follow-up of BC survivors. Most of patients relate a poor satisfaction with information and counselling related to sexuality and vaginal health, which are denied by many practitioners. Patients treated for BC cannot find relief in hormonal replacement therapy (HRT), which is considered the gold standard treatment for VVA symptoms. The usual treatments for these women are topics such as ovula or gel (lubricant, hyaluronic acid (HA)…) with however, a short term effect even when these topics are applied regularly and correctly during at least 2 to 3/weeks.In the literature, there is a significant impact on VVA at one month but later data are lacking . Moreover, patients' compliance and daily application are paramount of importance for efficacy that could disappear when the treatment is stopped. No randomized controlled trial has compared this treatment to innovative strategies. In this context, it is important to establish management strategies for VVA and sexual disorder after BC. Our objective is to assess prevalence rate of VVA among breast cancer survivors after the loco regional treatment and chemotherapy, and to compare the efficacy of innovative treatments namely, new biophysical inductor (Laser CO2) and chemical bio inductor (Hyaluronic acid injections) treatments to the efficacy of standard non-hormonal topic treatment for improving the VVA and the quality of sexual life on a long-term.
Registry for Intra-Operative Radiotherapy During Breast Conserving Surgery in Patients With Early...
Early-stage Breast CancerBreast Carcinoma in Situ1 moreThis is a prospective, registry study that will enroll all women with early stage breast cancer who will be treated with intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT) during breast-conserving surgery. The purpose of this study is to further validate the long-term effectiveness and safety of this treatment method. We aim to assess short and long-term patient outcomes associated with IORT, including perioperative complications, local and distance disease recurrences, as well as disease-free survival and overall survival.
Abemaciclib in Combination With Endocrine Therapy as First Line Therapy in Metastatic Breast Cancer...
Breast Cancer/ Metastatic Breast CancerBreast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women. 20-30 % of all breast cancer patients are faced with advanced disease, comprising both locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) and metastatic breast cancer (MBC). 80% of MBC cases are diagnosed as hormone receptor (HR) positive disease. The main systemic treatment options for these women include endocrine therapy (ET). The need of over-coming de novo or acquired resistance to ET in metastatic breast cancer has led to the integration of CDK4/6 inhibitors into combined ET of MBC. Abemaciclib represents a selective and potent small molecule inhibitor of CDK4/6 which has been granted approval by the European Medical Association (EMA). In two phase III trials Abemaciclib has been shown to double treatment efficacy in terms of PFS prolongation, to improve ORR and to prolong overall survival. At the same time, it has been shown that side effects of the drug are well manageable and QoL of patients under Abemaciclib is maintained.
Serial FES PET/CT to Measure Hormone Expression in Patients Undergoing Endocrine Targeted Therapy...
Estrogen Receptor PositivePrimary or Recurrent Breast Carcinoma1 moreThis clinical trial studies use of F-18 16 alpha-fluoroestradiol ([F-18] FES) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) in measuring tumor hormone receptor expression in patients undergoing endocrine-targeted therapy for newly diagnosed breast cancer or breast cancer that has come back or spread to other places in the body. Comparing results of diagnostic procedures done before, during, and after hormone therapy may help measure a patient's response to treatment.
Survey Among Healthcare Professionals Treating Patients With Metastatic Breast Cancer in Selected...
Breast CancerThis is a multinational, non-interventional, cross-sectional survey conducted among HCPs based in the EU/EEA who prescribe Piqray. The survey will assess the knowledge of HCPs prescribing Piqray in relation to the management of hyperglycemia in patients treated with Piqray. The survey will endeavor to collect a minimum to 30-50 completed surveys.
ADCb (Anlotinib/Docetaxel/Carboplatin) as Neoadjuvant Therapy for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer...
Breast CancerDCb (docetaxel/carboplatin) regimens as Neoadjuvant Treatment for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer have been recommended by NCCN guideline.Combination of anti-angiogenesis inhibitors is expected to further improvePathologic Complete Response(PCR).This study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ADCb (Anlotinib/docetaxel/carboplatin) as Neoadjuvant Treatment in Triple-Negative breast cancer. The endpoint of PCR is used as a surrogate marker for survival. Safety and tolerability assessed by number of grade 4 toxicities and hospitalizations.
Magseed and Magtrace Localization for Breast Cancer
Breast CarcinomaBreast Carcinoma Metastatic in Lymph NodeThe aim of this study is to compare the efficacy of the Sentimag localization system and its tracer Magtrace, superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles, as a tracer in sentinel node biopsy in breast cancer with Tc99 in a single-center prospective study. The other part of the study will be the implantation of the smallest non-radioactive seed, Magseed, in the non-palpable breast cancer lesions. Another part of the study will be the implantation of Magseed in the positive axillary lymph nodes in patients diagnosed with clinically positive lymph nodes that will receive neoadjuvant systemic therapy.
Financial Toxicity in Breast Cancer Surgery
Breast CancerThe purpose of this study is to evaluate financial toxicity, or financial harm, in breast cancer patients. The study will follow patients throughout their cancer treatment. The study investigators will measure if patients are experiencing financial toxicity and if it changes throughout treatment, and whether it's associated with different cancers, treatments, or demographics. Also, the study investigators will measure if financial toxicity impacts other areas of life (e.g., well-being, satisfaction). Finally, patients will be asked to estimate how much money they expect to spend on out-of-pocket expenses during their treatment and how their finances and employment status have changed since their cancer diagnosis.
Impact of Novel Thoracic Wall Blocks With Dexmetomidine on Inflammatory Markers Following Breast...
Inflammatory MarkersThe study will test the hypothesis that inflammatory markers measured at 24 hours after breast cancer surgery will be lower in patients receiving PECS II and PIFB blocks, supplemented with dexmetomidine compared to standard care group.
