Breast Cancer LymphedemaThis study is conducted to compare between efficacy of large and small area of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) in treatment of post mastectomy lymphedema. The change of severity of BCRL will be measured by the difference of circumference and skin thickness, detected by ultrasound. The influence on clinical symptoms, such as pain, shoulder mobility and hand function, are also investigated in the study.

Breast CancerThe purpose of this study is to determine if the triplet combination of dalpiciclib, fulvestrant, and pyrotinib is safe and effective in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-low locally advanced/metastatic breast cancer following treatment with an aromatase inhibitor plus a CDK4/6 inhibitor (palbociclib abemaciclib or ribociclib). The study will employ a Bayesian Optimal Phase II (BOP2) design which explicitly controls the type I error rate, thereby bridging the gap between Bayesian designs and frequentist designs, and has favorable operating characteristics with higher power and lower risk of incorrectly terminating the trial than some existing Bayesian phase II designs.

OPTI - DOSE: Optimal Dosing of Oral Anticancer Drugs in Older Adults
Renal Cell CarcinomaOvarian Carcinoma3 moreThe study hypothesis is that a lower starting dose of anticancer tablet treatments can lead to better treatment tolerability in older patients, while the benefits of treatment can be the same. The trial population consists of 30 patients aged 65 years or older, who are starting treatment with one of these anti cancer tablet treatments: pazopanib, olaparib, lenvatinib, sunitinib or palbociclib. The control group (half of the participants) will be treated with the standard-of-care, the interventional group will start with the lowest dose of the anti cancer tablets as described in the drug label. The dose will be increased every two weeks in case of good tolerability. Results of this pilot study will be used to inform the design of the larger randomised phase 2 trial.

Anatomic Stage I Breast Cancer AJCC v8Anatomic Stage II Breast Cancer AJCC v83 moreThis study evaluates pre-analytical factors affecting circulating tumor deoxyribonucleic acid (ctDNA) analysis in breast cancer that not spread beyond the breast and or lymph nodes (early and locally advanced). ctDNA refers to freely circulating tumor DNA fragments found in the blood plasma. Pre-analytical factors such as blood collection tubes, delays in separation of plasma, centrifugation speeds, storage conditions, shipping and DNA extraction methods can all affect ctDNA measurements. Inappropriate processing can cause breaking down of the membrane (lysis) of peripheral blood cells that release background wild-type DNA and may also cause degradation of circulating tumor-specific DNA fragments. Both mechanisms will dilute levels of ctDNA in plasma and make it more difficult to detect. Evaluating the pre-analytical factors of the collection of blood and left over tissue samples for the research of cancer may help researchers to evaluate the impact of the blood collection/processing and long-term storage from patients with locally advanced breast cancer.

Breast CancerThis is an observational, multi-centre study analysing data from patients treated with T-DM1 within the compassionate use program AL41711. During the compassionate use program AL41711, subjects received T-DM1 treatment for a total of 14 cycles or less, in case of disease recurrence or unmanageable toxicity. After the completion of the treatment, and 90 days of wash-out period, they can be enrolled in the study. After the signature of the Informed Consent Form, all their data reported in the medical charts up to then (as detailed in section 12 of the protocol) will be extracted retrospectively and inserted in the study database. From the end of the washout period following the last treatment with T-DM1, each subject will enter in an observation phase for a maximum of 3 years, or until death whichever happens first. This phase will be prospective after the signature of the Informed Consent Form.

Breast CancerMetastasisThe purpose of this single-site non-randomized study is to identify areas of need related to functional status and overall health, including nutrition and mental health in subjects with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). A decline in functional status is observed after breast cancer diagnosis and exacerbated by treatment. Declining functional status impacts the quality of life and can lead to increased comorbidity burden, hospitalization, and increased mortality. Functional status is assessed by specific provider-graded scales. Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) measures may better assess certain aspects of patient health and symptom domains. Thus, potentially supporting the future implementation of effective prehabilitation strategies. This study explores whether a PRO-based survey will identify the physical and emotional health and the social and financial status of patients newly diagnosed with MBC.

Breast Cancer FemaleThe goal of this clinical trial is to learn how a group resistance training plan can improve body mobility and strength in female breast cancer patients who have completed their breast cancer treatment. The main questions it aims to answer are: Is resistance training feasible following breast cancer treatment Can it improve the body's mobility and strength lost as a result of the breast cancer treatment can it improve the body's composition (for example muscle mass) can resistance training increase one's activity level and help prevent weight gain, perhaps, lowering the risk of cancer recurrence. Participants will attend a group resistance training exercise group program, 3-4 times per week, under close supervision with monitoring a participant's ability to safely and effectively complete the program. The exercises include: lunges, squats and dead lifts.
