Comparing Dosing Intervals of Nivolumab or Pembrolizumab in Locally Advanced or Metastatic Cancers...

Metastatic Cancer

A randomized research study of drugs nivolumab and pembrolizumab in patients with locally advanced or metastatic cancers. Based on data from earlier studies it appears that the drugs can be given less often then the currently approved schedule. This trial will compare drug levels from the blood from standard interval dosing levels versus taking the drugs less often.

Colorectal Cancer MetastaticLiver Metastasis Colon Cancer

Non-commercial, prospective, randomized, multicenter, national, phase II, open-label comparative clinical trial. The patients will be randomized in a 1: 1 ratio in two arms: Control arm. Systemic chemotherapy with FOLFOX6m + monoclonal Ab Experimental arm. Systemic chemotherapy with FOLFOX6m + monoclonal Ab + Intra-arterial liver chemotherapy with LIFEPEARLS-IRINOTECAN (catheterization and infusion of 100 +/- 50 micron microspheres loaded with 100 mg of irinotecan in both liver lobes) cycles 2 and 4. The main objective is to evaluate the radiological objective response rate according to the RECIST version 1.1 criteria at 6 months. Secondary objectives include: Evaluate overall survival, progression-free survival (PFS), safety profile, hepatic PFS, R0 liver surgery rate.

Intracavitary Carrier-embedded Cs131 Brachytherapy for Recurrent Brain Metastases: a Randomized...

Recurrent Brain Metastases

The purpose of this study is to see if Cs-131 brachytherapy is effective in people with recurrent brain cancer who are scheduled to have brain surgery for removal of their tumor(s). The researchers would like to see whether Cs-131 prevents brain tumors from growing back after surgery. The researchers will compare Cs-131 brachytherapy (which occurs during brain surgery) with the usual approach of brain surgery without brachytherapy. The researchers will compare both the effectiveness and safety of the two approaches.

Phase II Study of Pembrolizumab in Combination With Lenvatinib in Patients With TNBC, NSCLC, and...

Brain MetastasesTumor

This is a single-center, open-label, multi-cohort Phase II study evaluating the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab in combination with lenvatinib in patients with solid tumors and brain metastases. The study will be comprised of 3 patient cohorts: triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and solid tumor types other than TNBC and NSCLC. Cohort 3 will be comprised of solid tumor types with established (e.g., renal cell carcinoma [RCC], endometrial cancer) or preliminary clinical evidence (e.g., gastric cancer, colorectal cancer) of efficacy of programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) and angiogenesis inhibitors. The study will be conducted using a Simon's optimal two-stage design, and approximately 87 patients will be enrolled concurrently (n=29 per cohort). The primary endpoint is intracranial objective response rate (ORR) as assessed by the modified Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) v1.1.

Intraperitoneal Paclitaxel With XELOX in Gastric Cancer With Peritoneal Metastasis

Stomach NeoplasmsPaclitaxel1 more

IPXELOX will investigate the safety, tolerability, and antitumor activity of intraperitoneal paclitaxel in combination with chemotherapy in patients with advanced gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis. Study hypotheses: Intraperitoneal paclitaxel administered to subjects at the recommended phase 2 dose will show manageable safety and tolerability and anti-tumor efficacy with systemic capecitabine and oxaliplatin in advanced gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis.

PIPAC for Peritoneal Metastases

Peritoneal Metastases

Pressurized intraperitoneal aerosol chemotherapy (PIPAC) is a novel drug delivery system that allows the direct application of chemotherapeutic agents into the peritoneal cavity. It boosts improved distribution, enhanced tissue uptake and repeatability using minimally invasive access. It was devised to palliate the local symptoms of extensive peritoneal metastases (PM) in patients who are not amenable to curative surgery. This study is to determine safety and feasibility of PIPAC in patients with PM from Gastrointestinal (GI) cancer, Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) cancer, and other rare malignancies.

Safety and Efficacy of Sintilimab in Combination With Chemoradiothrapy Followed by D2 Surgical Resection...

Gastric Cancer

Gastric cancer with retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis was considered as unresectable, to improve these patients' prognosis, we designed systematic conversion therapy including immunotherapy and chemoradiotherapy. The purpose of this study is to estimate safety and efficacy of Sintilimab in combination with chemoradiothrapy followed by D2 surgical resection in patients with advanced gastric cancer with retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis.
