Safety and Efficacy Study of the Sorin 3D Annuloplasty Ring For Mitral Repair
Mitral Valve RegurgitationThe purpose of this study is to collect data on the effectiveness and clinical outcomes of the MEMO 3D Annuloplasty ring as used for mitral valve repair.
Atrial Functional Mitral Regurgitation Response In Mitral Loop Cerclage Annuloplasty (AFRICA Study)...
Atrial Functional Mitral RegurgitationHeart FailureTo evaluate second stage safety and feasibility of Mitral Loop Cerclage(MLC) Annuloplasty with CSTV for repair of functional mitral regurgitation.
CE Mark Study for the Harpoon Medical Device in Poland
Mitral Valve RegurgitationMitral Valve Prolapse1 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and performance of the Harpoon Medical TSD-5. The Harpoon device will provide many significant advantages over current surgical interventions including: 1) a small minimally invasive incision, 2) no sternotomy, 3) no cardiopulmonary bypass, 4) no aortic manipulation, 5) a direct path to the valve plane, 6) performed on a beating heart, 7) real-time TEE-guided chordal length adjustment and 8) less complicated procedure that is teachable and adoptable.
AMENDTM Mitral Valve Repair System, Annuloplasty Ring Applied in a Transcatheter Method
Mitral RegurgitationA multi center study to evaluate the safety of the AMENDTM Mitral Valve Repair System and its ability to reduce mitral regurgitation. AMEND device is an annuloplasty ring implanted in a minimally invasive trans-catheter method.
Mitralign Percutaneous Annuloplasty First in Man Study
Functional Mitral RegurgitationThe purpose of this study is to assess the safety and feasibility of the Mitralign Percutaneous Annuloplasty System in humans for the treatment of chronic functional mitral regurgitation. No formal test of hypothesis is proposed for this trial.
Safety and Early Feasibility Study of the Harpoon Medical Device (EFS)
A Randomized Clinical Trial of Metoprolol in Participants With Mitral Regurgitation.
Heart Valve DiseasesMitral valve regurgitation (leakage of the mitral valve of the heart) is frequent and currently there is no specific medical therapy. Mitral regurgitation is a slowly progressive disease that frequently requires surgical treatment. This randomized clinical trial will use Metoprolol, a common beta-blocker medication, to determine if medical treatment impacts mitral valve disease progression.
Flexible Band vs Rigid Ring for Degenerative Mitral Valve Disease
Mitral RegurgitationThe study evaluates the results of mitral valve repair with flexible band in comparison with rigid ring in patients undergoing mitral valve repair for degenerative mitral valve disease
Comparing the Effectiveness of a Mitral Valve Repair Procedure in Combination With Coronary Artery...
Mitral Valve InsufficiencyCoronary Artery DiseaseCoronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is a procedure that people with coronary artery disease (CAD) may undergo to increase blood flow to the heart. During a CABG procedure, people who have a leak in one of the valves in the heart-the mitral valve-may at the same time undergo a procedure that repairs the valve. This study will evaluate whether people with moderate mitral valve leakage would be better off undergoing CABG plus the mitral valve repair procedure or undergoing CABG alone.
Surgical Treatment of Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy With Severe Mitral Insufficiency....
Hypertrophic Obstructive CardiomyopathyCompare the results of reconstruction and mitral valve replacement in the surgical treatment of obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with severe mitral insufficiency.
