Music During Dental Children Care Under MEOPA
Dental DiseasesIn France, the improvement of dental care for children in general and even more so for children with special needs is a real public health issue. Indeed, children under 6 years of age, children with a fear that is difficult to control and who have failed to receive care, or children with disabilities, have difficulties in receiving care. Because of their medical wandering before effective therapeutic care, they are up to 4 times more likely to have a very degraded oral health condition involving avulsions rather than conservative care. Moreover, these complex situations often lead to the indication of dental care under conscious sedation with an equimolar mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide (MEOPA) or even under general anesthesia (GA); hospital sedation by administration of midazolam is exceptionally proposed. As access to GA care is largely insufficient, solutions likely to improve the success rate of care and anxiolysis provided by MEOPA associated with cognitive-behavioral management must be considered. Among these, music has been shown to have variable neurophysiological effects (action on cardiac and respiratory rhythms and on blood pressure), depending on the style of music used. During dental care, a biological and psychological impact on emotion has been highlighted, although the few studies carried out in children in this particular context are not at a high level of proof. In children with special needs, the addition of music to MEOPA could therefore increase relaxation or distraction during dental care and improve the success rate of sedation by MEOPA. Validation of this hypothesis would limit the redirection of the young patient under GA and prevent the loss of opportunity associated with a further delay in care of several months.

The main question it aims to answer is: • Lasers pulpotomies are a viable alternative to the standard Formocresol and Sodium Hypochlorite medicaments. All participants groups (Formocresol, Sodium Hypochlorite, Diode and Er:Cr;YSGG lasers) for pulpotomy procedure will follow the same clinical protocol, except for the techniques that will be used for hemostasis of the pulpotomies which either will be achieved by Formocresol or Sodium Hypochlorite solutions or by Diode or Erbium lasers.

MOLAR: Mapping Oral Health and Local Area Resources
Dental DiseasesThe goal of this clinical trial is to test the impact of a screening and linkage intervention for adverse social determinants of health (aSDoH) on oral health linkage to care for emergency department patients. Researchers will compare three groups: Patients in Arm A will receive paper handouts with general oral health and aSDoH resources. Patients in Arm B will receive paper handouts with geographically-proximate oral health and aSDoH resources. Patients in Arm C will receive geographically-proximate oral health and aSDoH resources plus active navigational assistance.

LIFE-HOUSE will utilize an innovative Tent-Umbrella-Bucket design. Participants will gather under the Tent of an all-inclusive 'N of 1' Case Series providing a shelter of Functional Medicine interventions against the storm of chronic disease. Under this Tent are a collection of Umbrellas where participants with similar clinical challenges are evaluated as clinically defined groups with loose guidelines for the planned interventions. Finally, participants standing under these Umbrellas may step into specific Buckets that gather individuals with nearly identical clinical presentations into more formally described prescriptive randomized arms for intervention. Individuals will be offered the opportunity to participate in all Umbrellas and Buckets for which they qualify. They may accept or reject participation in any Umbrella or Bucket and yet remain eligible for participation in the overall Tent.
