Comparison of Masticatory Efficiency Between Complete Denture With Zero-degree Teeth and Anatomic...
EdentulousThis study aims to evaluate masticatory efficiency of the zero-degree teeth complete denture in treatment of edentulous patients of severely resorbed ridge.Patients will be crossed over to be treated with zero-degree teeth complete denture and anatomic teeth complete denture. For each patient, the masticatory efficiency and electromyography with different denture will be recorded and analysis.
Comparing Patient Satisfaction & Stress Distribution on Mandibular Ridge by Three Posterior Occlusal...
EdentulousIn this randomized clinical trial to compare the patients' satisfaction of complete dentures with different occlusal forms, after simple randomized sampling of 15 participant that will be signed informed consent and their latest teeth was extracted 3 month ago, will be selected. For each participant, it will be made 3 set of complete dentures that are variable in occlusion only. During the study, dissatisfied participants can leave it. Each set will be inserted for 1month in 5 participant randomly. The participants will be examined in two stages, after a day and after a week. At the end of month the questionaire will be filled out and the pressure under the mandibular denture base will be measured with the pressure sensors. Then the second and third denture will be inserted simultaneously.
Short vs Long Dental Implants for the Fixed Rehabilitation of the Fully Edentulous Mandible
Edentulous JawThe aim of this study is to clinically and radiographically compare the performance of short (6 mm-long) versus long (≥11 mm-long) dental implants placed in the interforaminal region of fully edentulous mandibles, supporting a screw-retained full-arch cantilever bridge.

Soft Tissue AtrophyMucogingival Deformity on Edentulous Ridge1 moreThe purpose of the study is to compare soft tissue volume changes in terms of volume gain and stability around dental implants and PROMS in cases where a sub-epithelial connective tissue graft (SCTG) from the palate, Porcine collagen matrix (CM) or Porcine Acellular dermal matrix (PADM) is used after 3 and 15 months after implant placement.
Polyetheretherketone vs Cobalt-chromium Telescopic Removable Partial Denture in Kennedy Class I...
Partially Edentulous MandibleDentistry is a rapidly progressing field with innumerable advances taking place on a day to day basis. The application of newer technologies and materials has advanced the specialty of prosthodontics and the services rendered to the patients. Taking into consideration that PEEK as a material wasn't clinically investigated to be used as a material for routine use, however PEEK in removable partial dentures will help in making many steps easier and reach patients demands regarding esthetics. Also, owing to the superior mechanical and biological properties of PEEK, it will not be surprising if dentures constructed from the polymer are routinely constructed in near future.
Prosthesis and Implant Survival in Immediately Loaded Temporary Full Arch Restorations
Completely Edentulous PatientsIn immediate loading of implants of completely edentulous patients, the most common post-surgical complication following the surgery noted in the dental literature is fracture of the provisional restoration with rates ranging from 4.17% to 41%. Most of these fractures occur because polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) materials are inadequate and have low rigidity to withstand extended periods of heavy occlusal use. Fractures of full arch provisional restorations during healing are concerning, because they eliminate cross-arch stabilization and disrupt stress distribution patterns which might jeopardize implant osseointegration affecting the survival rates for implants. Therefore, it is important to look for another material that has higher rigidity than PMMA and can withstand masticatory forces for extended periods without fractures or load concentration on the implants during the osseointegration period.
Implant Placement in Mandibular Molar Xenograft Versus PRF
Edentulous Alveolar Ridge20 recruited patients indicated for immediate implant placement in mandibular molar patients are divided into 2 groups each group contain 15 patients, one group assigned for placement of bovine bone after molar extraction and immediate implant placement, while the other group we use Platelet-rich fibrin as space filling material.
