Upper Extremity Function in Multiple Sclerosis Patients With Advanced Disability Treated With Ocrevus...
Multiple SclerosisPathologic Processes6 moreThe investigators are measuring the effectiveness of Ocrevus™ in helping patients with hand or arm weakness, especially if posed by a more advanced MS patient than those included in the clinical trials.
Nanocrystalline Gold to Treat Remyelination Failure in Chronic Optic Neuropathy In Multiple Sclerosis...
Relapsing Remitting Multiple SclerosisOptic Neuropathy2 moreThe objective of this trial is to assess the efficacy and safety of CNM-Au8 as a remyelinating treatment for vision-impairing MS lesions in participants who have chronic vision impairment as a result of Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. The primary endpoint is to assess the efficacy and safety of CNM-Au8 as a remyelinating therapy in patients with stable RMS. The secondary endpoint is Change in Functional Composite Responder Analysis Score from Baseline to Week 24.

Relapsing-Remitting Multiple SclerosisThe purpose of this observational study is to evaluate the Safety and Effectiveness of Generic Fingolimod (Sphingomod®, Hikma) in Patients with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in Egypt
Efficacy and Safety of Daclizumab in Participants With RRMS Switching From Natalizumab
Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS)The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the effects of treatment with daclizumab on the proportion of participants relapse-free at 6 months in Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS) participants, who switched from treatment with natalizumab to daclizumab due to safety concerns. The secondary objectives of this study in this study population are to evaluate the effects of daclizumab on the following: 1) Multiple Sclerosis (MS) relapse activity including the annualized relapse rate (ARR) and the proportion of participants experiencing relapses requiring hospitalization and/or steroid treatment; 2) MS-related outcomes measured using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); 3) Safety and tolerability in participants previously treated with natalizumab.
COMparison Between All immunoTherapies for Multiple Sclerosis.
Relapsing-remitting Multiple SclerosisThe overarching goal of this study is to determine whether rituximab (RTX) offers effectiveness and safety advantages over other commonly used approved Disease-Modifying Drugs (DMT) in the largest real-world population-based structured prospective follow-up cohort of Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS) patients. The study will include both treatment naïve patients starting their first DMT and patients switching from a previous first line DMT (escalation/second-line).
A Study to Assess the Effect of a Single Infusion of VAY736 on Disease Activity in Patients With...
Relapse Remitting Multiple SclerosisThis was a randomized, partially blinded, placebo-controlled, non-confirmatory study to assess the effects of a single infusion of VAY736 on disease activity as measured by brain MRI scans in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS).
Long-Term Extension Study in Participants With Multiple Sclerosis Who Have Completed Study 205MS301...
Relapsing-Remitting Multiple SclerosisMultiple SclerosisThe primary objective of the study is to assess the safety and tolerability of long-term treatment with BIIB019 (Daclizumab High Yield Process; DAC HYP) monotherapy in participants with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) who completed Study 205MS301 (NCT01064401), Study 205MS203 (NCT01051349) or Study 205MS302 (NCT01462318). Secondary objectives of this study in this study population are as follows: To describe MS-related outcomes, including MS relapse, disability progression, MS lesion formation, and participant-reported impact of MS, following long-term treatment with DAC HYP To assess the long-term immunogenicity of DAC HYP administered by prefilled syringe (PFS) To assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of switching to DAC HYP in participants previously on long-term treatment with interferon β-1a (Avonex) in Study 205MS301(NCT01064401).
Phase 2 Extension Trial in Patients With Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS)
Multiple SclerosisThe objective of this active-drug Extension Study is to evaluate the continuing safety and efficacy of ONO-4641 (MSC2430913A) in subjects with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) who have completed an initial 26-week Core Study (ONO-4641POU006 [NCT01081782]).
The Effects of Interferon Beta Combined With Vitamin D on Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis...
MULTIPLE SCLEROSISThe investigators hypothesize that vitamin D supplementation may ameliorate interferon beta-induced flu-like symptoms, owing to reduced release and activity of the cytokines that are in correlation with this adverse event. Vitamin D supplementation may also positively affect injection site reactions due to its immunomodulatory effects. Vitamin D may also augment the therapeutic efficacy of interferon beta among multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. Vitamin D intake may influence melatonin levels of MS patients as they share the same nuclear receptor.
