Phase 3 Trial of Pamrevlumab or Placebo With Systemic Corticosteroids in Participants With Non-ambulatory...
Duchenne Muscular DystrophyTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of pamrevlumab versus placebo in combination with systemic corticosteroids in participants with non-ambulatory Duchenne muscular dystrophy (age 12 years and older).
A Study to Assess the Safety, Tolerability and Preliminary Efficacy of ASP0367 (MA-0211) in Pediatric...
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of ASP0367. This study will also evaluate the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and efficacy on muscle function of ASP0367.
Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Type 2I in Norway
Limb Girdle Muscular DystrophyType 2I3 moreKey goals are to establish the natural history of limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2I (LGMD 2I) and identify feasible and sensitive tools and biomarkers to measure disease affection and progression, determine the Norwegian LGMD 2I prevalence, carrier frequency and genotypes, and to assess health-related quality of life in the Norwegian LGMD 2I population. Main aims are to facilitate future clinical trials and contribute to good clinical practice with suitable methodology and to complete health and social care in order to optimize the function and quality of daily living of the patient group.
A Phase I/II, Open Label, Escalating Dose, Pilot Study to Assess Effect, Safety, Tolerability and...
Muscular DystrophiesThe purpose of the extension phase of this study is to determine whether Drisapersen is effective in the treatment of boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy resulting from a mutation thought to be corrected by exon 51 skipping.
Trial of Pamrevlumab (FG-3019), in Non-Ambulatory Participants With Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy...
Duchenne Muscular DystrophyThis is a Phase 2, open-label, single arm trial of pamrevlumab (FG-3019) to estimate pamrevlumab's safety and efficacy in non-ambulatory participants with DMD.
A Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of MNK-1411 in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Muscular DystrophyDuchenneThis is a multicenter, double blind, placebo controlled, multiple dose study to examine the safety and efficacy of MNK-1411 in male subjects 4 to 8 years of age (inclusive) with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
Phase 2B Extension Study of Ataluren (PTC124) in Duchenne/Becker Muscular Dystrophy (DMD/BMD)
Duchenne Muscular DystrophyBecker Muscular DystrophyDuchenne/Becker muscular dystrophy (DMD/BMD) is a genetic disorder that develops in boys. It is caused by a mutation in the gene for dystrophin, a protein that is important for maintaining normal muscle structure and function. Loss of dystrophin causes muscle fragility that leads to weakness and loss of walking ability during childhood and teenage years. A specific type of mutation, called a nonsense (premature stop codon) mutation is the cause of DMD/BMD in approximately 10-15% of boys with the disease. Ataluren (PTC124) is an orally delivered, investigational drug that has the potential to overcome the effects of the nonsense mutation. This study is a Phase 2b extension trial that will evaluate the long-term safety of ataluren (PTC124) in boys with nonsense mutation DMD/BMD, as determined by adverse events and laboratory abnormalities. The study will also assess changes in walking, muscle function, and other important clinical and laboratory measures.
Safety and Efficacy of P-188 NF in DMD Patients
Duchenne Muscular DystrophyThis is an open-label study to evaluate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of daily, subcutaneous dosing with P-188 NF (Carmeseal-MD™) in non-ambulatory boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This study will determine if continuous treatment with Carmeseal-MD™ can maintain or improve pulmonary function, and skeletal and cardiac muscle function, compared to baseline, in boys 12-25 years of age.
An Open-label Extension Study To Evaluate Safety Of PF-06252616 In Boys With Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy...
Duchenne Muscular DystrophyThis study is an open-label extension to protocol B5161002 and will provide an assessment of the long term safety, efficacy, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of intravenous dosing of PF 06252616 in boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Approximately 105 eligible subjects will be assigned to receive a monthly individualized maximum tolerated dose based on their tolerability profile/data from B5161002. This study will not contain a placebo comparator. Subjects will undergo safety evaluations (Laboratory, cardiac monitoring, physical exams, x-ray, MRI), functional capacity evaluations (4 stair climb, range of motion, strength testing, Northstar Ambulatory Assessment, upper limb functional testing, six minute walk test and pulmonary function tests) and pharmacokinetic testing.
Treatment of Ptosis to Muscular Dystrophy Oculopharyngeal by Myoblast Autologous Graft
Muscular DystrophyOculopharyngeal1 moreInterventional , multicenter , comparative study. One eye receiving the cells and the contralateral eye as a negative control . If effectiveness following review of the primary endpoint and the advice of an independent expert committee , the experimental treatment will be offered to the patient to the contralateral eyelid. Objective is to restore muscle function levator muscle of the upper eyelid by providing a registry of autologous myoblasts from a non- clinically affected muscle .
