The aim of this retrospective study is to define the paraneural (fascial) sheath and fascial compartments that surround the brachial plexus at the supraclavicular fossa by reviewing previous ultrasound images from cases that have undergone ultrasound guided selective trunk brachial plexus block.

This project was intended to observe the handover of trauma and orthopaedic patients at a district general hospital in the UK. Following the implementation of a standard operating protocol, the handover of patient information improved including neck of femur fracture patients significantly. The study can therefore be utilised by other similarly structured departments to improve the handover process, thereby improving patient safety.

Locally, studies were conducted on the specific subject pools mainly considering the work related musculoskeletal disorders and backache. However, no real data is available for the symptomatic management of painful musculoskeletal disorders in multiple settings to calculate more generalizable results. So this study is planned and if we found good results then it will help physicians to prescribe the above said medicine to all such cases.

Musculoskeletal disorders can be a large burden on individuals, health care and social care systems. The aim was to assess the feasibility of performing a prospective study investigating whether self-efficacy, fear of movement, empowerment or enablement has any relation to the number of visits to physiotherapists among patients with a musculoskeletal disorder in primary health care. Design was apProspective study with consecutively selection including patients seeking physiotherapist for the first time for a musculoskeletal disorder. Primary outcome measure included operational and practical feasibility regarding recruitment of participants, use of questionnaires and key variables to be collected as part of the study.
