Safety and Potential Bioactivity of CLBS16 in Patients With Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction and...

Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction

This clinical trial will explore the safety and effect of GCSF-mobilized autologous ex vivo selected CD34 cells for the treatment of CMD in adults currently experiencing angina and with no obstructive coronary artery disease. Eligible subjects will receive a single intracoronary infusion of CLBS16.

Virtual Therapy as a Method Supporting the Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiovascular DiseasesCoronary Artery Disease4 more

This study evaluates the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) therapy in the treatment of depression and anxiety symptoms in patients undergoing second stage of cardiac rehabilitation. Half of the study group will receive VR therapy (VR group) as an addition to cardiologically monitored physical training. The other half of the group (control group) will receive Schultz Autogenic Training as a standard supplement to cardiological training.

Safety and Efficacy of Cardiac Shockwave Therapy in Patients Undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting...

Heart Failure PatientsCardiac Ischemia

This randomised, controlled clinical trial aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Cardiac Shockwave Therapy (CAST-HF) in patients with ischaemic heart failure requiring surgical revascularization. The main questions to answer are: Does cardiac shockwave therapy, in addition to CABG surgery, improve left ventricular ejection fraction? Is cardiac shockwave therapy in addition to CAGB surgery safe? Participants will be randomised into intervention (cardiac shockwave therapy) and control (sham treatment with an inactive applicator) groups.

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and Ischemic Heart DIsease

Ischaemic Heart Disease (IHD)Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)1 more

To examine the dynamics of 24 - hours ECG monitoring parameters (Holter monitoring) in patients with ischaemic heart disease (IHD) before and after treatment of voiding dysfunctions resulted from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with the indications for either conservative or operative treatment. A total of eighty-three 57-to-81-year-old (mean age 70.4±5.75 years) patients with BPH and accompanying IHD were examined at the Institute of Urology and Human Reproductive Health and Clinic of Cardiology of the Sechenov University.

A Study to Assess the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of AZD5718 After...

Coronary Artery Disease

This is a Phase I study to investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of the novel compound, AZD5718 in healthy Japanese men. The results from this study will form the basis for decisions on future studies.

Low Maintenance Dose Ticagrelor Versus Clopidogrel in Diabetes Patients Undergoing PCI

Diabetes MellitusType 21 more

To date there is very little PD and pharmacokinetic (PK) data on the ticagrelor 60 mg bid dosing regimen. In particular, there is no prospective PK/PD study on this dosing regimen in patients with DM who are known to have impaired response to clopidogrel therapy. Since DM patients frequently require elective PCI due to chronic progression of CAD (and not solely because of an acute thrombotic complication), and clopidogrel remains the guideline recommended P2Y12 inhibiting therapy for these patients, understanding the PD effects of the ticagrelor 60 mg bid regimen in this setting is an unmet clinical need. This is also in light of the ongoing THEMIS trial which is specifically evaluating the impact of the ticagrelor 60 mg bid dosing regimen in type 2 DM patients without a prior major CV event.

Brief Behavioral Health Intervention Program for Patients With Stable Coronary Artery Disease

Coronary Artery DiseaseIschemic Heart Disease1 more

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of a lifestyle intervention for patients living with stable coronary artery disease (CAD). One group will receive the the intervention, and the other will receive treatment as usual (TAU). The investigators hypothesize that, compared to the TAU group, participants receiving the intervention will 1) experience greater confidence in managing their cardiac disease, as indicated by perceived self-efficacy and illness perceptions; 2) experience greater psychological adjustment as indicated by depressive, anxious, and demoralization symptoms; 3) experience greater engagement in health behaviors including healthy eating and physical activity.
