Project JAY THA Registration Study
OsteoarthritisRheumatoid Arthritis4 moreThis is a prospective, randomized, multicenter clinical study in Chinese subjects to compare the safety and efficacy of the Delta PLUS Femoral Head and SL-TWIN Stem with BIOLOX forte ball head and SL-PLUS Stem in total hip arthroplasty

Phase I Study for Autologous Dermal Substitutes and Dermo-epidermal Skin Substitutes for Treatment...
Burn InjurySoft Tissue Injury4 moreThe purpose of this study is the evaluation of the safety of autologous tissue-engineered dermal substitutes "denovoDerm" (first arm) and dermo-epidermal skin substitutes "denovoSkin" (second arm) transplanted onto the wound bed in children and adults.

Melphalan With or Without Tumor Necrosis Factor in Treating Patients With Locally Advanced Melanoma...
Recurrent MelanomaStage III MelanomaRandomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of hyperthermic isolated limb perfusion of melphalan with or without tumor necrosis factor in treating patients who have locally advanced melanoma of the arm or leg. Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Heating melphalan to several degrees above body temperature and infusing it only to the area around the tumor may kill more tumor cells. It is not yet known whether combining melphalan with tumor necrosis factor is more effective than melphalan alone in treating melanoma.

Effects of Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF)-Alpha Antagonism in Patients With Metabolic Syndrome
Metabolic Syndrome XMetabolic syndrome is associated with increased inflammatory cytokines and reduced adiponectin, that may be mediated in part by TNF production from abdominal fat. We reasoned that an anti-TNF agent would reduce C-reactive protein (CRP) and increase adiponectin, improving the inflammatory milieu associated with metabolic syndrome.

A Phase I/II Study of Intralesional Recombinant Tumor Necrosis Factor in Patients With AIDS-Related...
SarcomaKaposi1 moreTo evaluate tolerance, toxicity, and preliminary evidence of antitumor efficacy of intralesionally administered tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and to define a maximum tolerated dose (MTD) for single intralesional injections. In addition, to assess the effects of TNF injections on Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) lesions as measured by P-32 magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

Pentoxifylline (Trental) as a Modulator of Tumor Necrosis Factor and of HIV Replication in Patients...
HIV InfectionsTo determine whether pentoxifylline lowers tumor necrosis factor (TNF) levels in AIDS patients. Pentoxifylline decreases tumor necrosis factor (TNF), and therefore should decrease such TNF-intensified events as cachexia, enhanced HIV expression, and inhibition of zidovudine (AZT) activity.

Comparing the Outcome of Cemented All-Polyethylene Pegged vs. Keeled Components Through a Subscapularis...
Arthropathy ShoulderShoulder Pain6 moreParticipants who choose to participate in this study, will either have their tendon repaired to tendon, so-called tenotomy repair, or tendon repaired to bone, so-called peel repair.

Report 2 Cases of Massive Incarceration Necrosis Rectal Prolapse Are Successfully Treated With Altemeier's...
Rectal ProlapseIncarceration and necrosis of rectal prolapse is rare and often requires urgent management. Perineal rectosigmoidectomy (Altemeir procedure) is a reasonable technique for this condition. The need for a diverting stoma depends on the patient's condition and the experience and judgement of the surgeon. A literature review was performed to determine optimal management of incarcerated and necrotic rectal prolapse, and to determine the indication for fecal diversion.

Different Treatment Modality in Necrotic Primary Molars
Primary TeethDental Pulp RegenerationNecrotic primary molars in preschool children will be treated with the regeneration concept to provide a healthy biological environment within the root canal system and regression in clinical signs and symptoms which are the primary outcomes of regeneration treatment.

Efficacy of Combined Blood Clot and Platelet Rich Fibrin Scaffolds in Regeneration of Necrotic Immature...
Pulp NecrosesThe aim of the present study is to assess clinically and radio-graphically the regenerative potential of immature permanent teeth with necrotic pulp using blood clot and Platelet rich fibrin scaffolds.
