The proposed study represents a quality improvement study of a recently-developed dedicated radiation oncology subspecialty clinic with the goal of improving timeliness of palliative radiation therapy and improving resident training in palliative care topics. The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of this clinic on time to palliative radiation therapy following referral.

In the present study, we will prospectively evaluate the pain response and treatment failure rate to determine the most favorable radiation dose in single fraction stereotactic radiotherapy using the modern highly conformal technique for bone metastases. Our findings should be able to provide evidence-based recommendation to support the utilization of single fraction radiotherapy for value-based oncology practice.

A study that is blinded to the patient and the investigator where the combination of Arfolitixorin + 5-FU is compared to Calciumfolinate + 5-FU. The patients will be randomised and will receive the above described combination as IV bolus injections, peroperatively in conjuction with collection of the first tissue sample. A low dose (30 mg) and a high dose (120) mg of Arfolitixorin will be used in order to investigate the relation between dose of Arfolitixorin and TS-inhibition.

Pyrotinib is an oral tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting both HER1, HER2 and HER4 receptors. This study is a single-arm, prospective, open label clinical study of pyrotinib plus vinorelbine as the therapy of brain metastases from HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer.

Data of 100 colorectal cancer patients with liver metastases who received stereotactic radiotherapy of Cyberknife or microwave ablation in the multicenter of the research group from June 2019 to May 2021 were collected, as well as follow-up data.To evaluate the clinical efficacy of stereotactic radiotherapy and microwave ablation in liver metastases.In addition, the local control rate and side effects of stereotactic radiotherapy and microwave ablation in the treatment of liver metastases were explored, and the efficacy and safety of different doses of stereotactic radiotherapy were determined.

The purpose of this research study is to compare the effects (good and bad) on subjects and their cancer using proton radiation therapy in combination with immunotherapy(ie. Programmed cell death protein 1, also known as PD-1 antibody) in multiple metastases.

The purpose of this clinical trial is to look at the effectiveness of prescribing yoga classes to patients with dysmenorrhea (irregular or painful periods), or other menstrual disorders on patients' self reported pain and quality of life. Patients will be recruited from primary care clinics around Illinois, including Carle Hospital. This is a randomized trial in which patients will first be randomized into the control or intervention group. Patients in the control group will undergo usual care and be surveyed at baseline, 3 months, 6 months and 9 months. Patients in the control group will be offered the 3 months of yoga therapy complimentary after completing the 9 month control. Control patients who choose to participate in the yoga therapy will be asked to also complete the surveys at the end of the 3 month yoga intervention. Patients in the intervention group will first undergo 3 months of regular care and then 3 months of biweekly yoga classes. Participants will complete surveys at baseline, 3 months (after of control care), 6 months (after 3 months of biweekly yoga classes), 9 months, and 12 months (after 6 months of observation and optional yoga practice).

The study will use an Ommaya reservoir that drains into brain metastases to deliver activated, autolous dendritic cells to the tumor lesion, for patients who are 18 - 75 years old who have brain metastases from either lung cancer or breast cancer. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the safety and feasibility of administering DCVax-Direct to patients with metastatic tumors in the brain. The secondary objectives are to determine tumor response, the rate of intracranial recurrence (IR), the rate of neurologic deaths, decline in neuro-cognitive functioning and overall survival. Approximately 10 patients with injectable metastatic brain tumors will be enrolled initially in a dose escalation scheme, with the expectation to enroll a total of 24 patients.
