Testing a Culturally Adapted Telephone Genetic Counseling Intervention
Breast CancerHereditary Breast CancerParticipating in genetic cancer risk assessments (GCRA) for hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) can inform treatment and risk management decisions and improve breast cancer outcomes. However, Latina women underuse GCRA services, which may increase breast cancer disparities. This study will adapt and test the impact of a Culturally Adapted Telephone Genetic Counseling Intervention to enhance the use and quality of genetic counseling services for underserved Latina women at-risk of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer

Synergic Effects of Physical Activity and Probiotic on Gut Immune System and Quality of Life of...
Breast Cancer FemalesPhysical exercise along with gut microbiota improvement -because of probiotic intake- can improve the quality of life and immune system in breast cancer survivors. This is achieved because exercise improves the muscle mass in cancer patients (often reduced by treatment and/or inactivity), together with the gut microbiota improvement, this stimulates the inmune system function, improving the quality of life of these patients.

Effect of Pembrolizumab and Cisplatin on Metastatic, Locally Recurrent or Inoperable Triple-Negative...
Estrogen Receptor NegativeHER2/Neu Negative4 moreThis is a Phase II treatment study that is done to evaluate how effective and safe the combination of pembrolizumab and cisplatin work in treating participants with triple-negative breast cancer that had spread to other parts of the body, has come back, or cannot be removed by surgery. Pembrolizumab (investigational drug) is a monoclonal antibody that works by helping your immune system to fight cancer. Cisplatin is a chemotherapy drug that works by interfering with tumor cell division. Studies also suggest that treatment with chemotherapy, like cisplatin, may improve the effectiveness of pembrolizumab. This study will test the effectiveness of pembrolizumab and cisplatin in participants with advanced triple-negative breast cancer.

Eribulin in Brain Metastases From HER2-negative Breast Cancer
Metastatic Breast CancerTo evaluate the efficacy of eribulin for treatment of HER2-negative breast cancer brain metastases (BCBM)

Improving Brain Function After Breast Cancer Study
Breast Cancer SurvivorsThis study will explore the feasibility and potential effects of a simple, home-based daily meditation intervention on breast cancer survivors' cognitive and psychological functioning as well as inflammatory regulation.

Carbon Dioxide Fractional Laser in Treating Participants With Stage 0-III Hormone Receptor-Positive...
Anatomic Stage 0 Breast Cancer AJCC v8Anatomic Stage I Breast Cancer AJCC v827 moreThis phase II trial studies how well carbon dioxide fractional (CO2RE) laser works in treating participants with stage 0-III hormone receptor-positive breast cancer with vulvovaginal atrophy associated with dryness, inflammation or thinning of the epithelial lining of the vulva and vagina. CO2RE laser is a device that delivers controlled CO2 energy to the vaginal tissue and may help treat vaginal symptoms such as itching, burning, painful sexual intercourse, thickened or thin skin of the vulva, and stinging.

Tucatinib + Abemaciclib + Herceptin for HER2+ MBC
Breast CancerThis research study is studying a combination of drugs as a possible treatment for HER2-Postive Metastatic Breast Cancer. The interventions involved in this study are: Tucatinib Abemaciclib (VerzenioTM) Trastuzumab (Herceptin®) Endocrine Therapy: Exemestane (Aromasin®), Letrozole (Femara®), or Anastrozole (Arimidex®)

Feasibility and Effectiveness of an Internet-based Intervention to Manage Fatigue in Breast Cancer...
Breast CancerFatigueThe purpose of this project is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of a 6-week, internet-based, Energy Conservation and Activity Management intervention among women who report cancer-related fatigue following breast cancer treatment.

CIMER: Combined Immunotherapies in Metastatic ER+ Breast Cancer
Breast CancerWomen with Hormone Receptor (HR)+ Human Epidermal growth factor Receptor (HER)2- metastatic breast cancer are eligible to a randomized trial. Patients receiving standard first line therapy for metastatic HR+ Breast cancer(BC) (letrozole+palbociclib) are randomly assigned to also receive Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy(SBRT) to each metastatic lesion.

Glembatumumab Vedotin, Nivolumab, and Ipilimumab in Treating Patients With Advanced Metastatic Solid...
Advanced Malignant Solid NeoplasmEstrogen Receptor Negative16 moreThis phase Ib/II trial studies the best dose of glembatumumab vedotin when giving together with nivolumab and ipilimumab in treating patients with solid tumor that has spread to other places in the body and cannot be removed by surgery. Monoclonal antibodies, such as glembatumumab vedotin, nivolumab, and ipilimumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
