The Effect of RadiaAce Gel in the Prevention and Treatment of Radiation Dermatitis in Breast Cancer...
Breast CancerRadiation DermatitisRadiation dermatitis (RD) is one of the most common side effects of Radiation therapy (RT) and 95% of patients receiving RT may experience some form of radiation dermatitis. A wide variety of topical, oral, and intravenous agents are used to prevent/treat Radiation dermatitis but currently there is no gold standard in the prevention and management of this condition and no treatment can be explicitly recommended. RadiaAce Gel is a wound dressing Hydrogel (Acemannan Hydrogel) for the management of RD which provides optimal moist wound environment necessary to the healing process. Based on its composition as well as the supporting data on safety and performance of the functional ingredient Acemannan in wound healing, RadiaAce may well be suited to complement the prevention and therapy of radiation dermatitis. The primary aim of the study is to evaluate the safety and performance of RadiaAce as compare to Biafine in reducing the proportion of breast cancer patients that experience grade 2 or higher RD as measured by the RTOG scoring system
RW Treatment Patterns and Outcomes in Postmenopausal HR+/HER2- mBC Patients Treated With Palbociclib...
Breast CancerThis is a retrospective, observational study that will document treatment patterns and clinical outcomes of postmenopausal patients diagnosed with HR+/HER2- mBC who received Palbociclib plus Letrozole as initial endocrine-based therapy in US community oncology network settings.
Analgesic Efficacy of Erector Spinae Plane Block After Breast Cancer Surgery
Postoperative PainBreast CancerErector spinae plane block(ESPB), which is firstly used for thoracic neuropathic pain, is newly developed and highly promising fascial plane block for providing postoperative analgesia for a great deal of surgeries including breast surgery. The investigators aim to study efficacy of ESPB for patients who undergone breast cancer surgery and is expected to benefit from opioid-sparing effect of this technique.
Prediction of 18F-FES-PET/CT Parameters on Palbociclib Combined With ET
Metastatic Breast CancerTo investigate parameters based on 18F-FES-PET/CT so as to estimate the outcome of palbociclib combined with endocrine therapy in patients with HR+/HER2-MBC.
Estimation of the Prevalence of HER2 Low and Describe the SoC, Treatment Patterns, and Outcome in...
Breast CancerThis is a worldwide, multicenter, non-interventional, retrospective study of patient medical records from metastatic breast cancer (mBC) patients previously identified as human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative (HER2-neg), regardless of hormone status.
KARMA Kontrast - a Controlled Trial Evaluating Contrast Enhanced Mammography in Early Detection...
Breast CancerWomen taking part in the National Mammography Screening Program, examined at Södersjukhuset Breast Centre at Södra station in Stockholm and recalled because of suspicion of breast cancer will be invited to participate. A Contrast Enhanced Mammography will be added to the standard of care procedures for investigating a suspicion of breast cancer and blinded from each other 2 radiologists will evaluate either the Contrast Enhanced Mammography or the standard of care examinations. When comparing the potentially extra findings with Contrast Enhanced Mammography will be calculated. Potential side effects together with the patient experience will also be evaluated.
RWD Study in HER2+ mBC Patients in Third-Line Therapy
Breast Cancer Stage IVThis retrospective observational study will collect Canadian real-world data (RWD) from HER2+ metastatic breast cancer (mBC) patients to describe treatment sequences of all therapies received in the metastatic setting, to measure overall survival (OS), progression free survival (PFS), time to next active anti-cancer therapy, and to estimate the health resources utilization (HRU) during third-line therapy.

Multimodal Pain Treatment for Breast Cancer Surgery - a Prospective Cohort Study
Breast Cancer FemalePostoperative Pain1 moreBreast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among women worldwide. (1) Breast-conserving surgery or mastectomy is indicated for the majority of patients with this type of cancer. (2) Postoperative pain is frequent in this population, with almost 50 % experiencing acute pain and 25-60 % subsequently live with chronic pain. (3-5) Today no golden standard for postoperative pain management regarding breast cancer surgeries exists, and there is definitely room for improvement. Especially considering the large population of women with breast cancer and consequences of acute and chronic pain, such as prolonged recovery and affected quality of life. (6,7) With the present study, we aim to optimise postoperative pain treatment and investigate the effect of a standardised multimodal postoperative analgesic regimen based on previous recommendations.
