A Study of SGN-EGFRd2 in Advanced Solid Tumors

This study will test the safety of a drug called SGN-EGFRd2 in participants with advanced solid tumors. It will also study the side effects of this drug. A side effect is anything a drug does to the body besides treating the disease. Participants will have cancer that cannot be removed (unresectable) or has spread through the body (metastatic). This study will have three parts. Parts A and B of the study will find out how much SGN-EGFRd2 should be given to participants. Part C will use the dose found in parts A and B to find out how safe SGN-EGFRd2 is and if it works to treat solid tumor cancers.

To investigate the relationship between serum chemerin levels of individuals with colorectal cancer and systematic inflammatory response parameters such as C-reactive protein(CRP) and albumin, and to investigate the relationship of these biomarkers with dietary inflammatory index, phytochemical, anthropometric measurements, and dietary inflammatory index, which is calculated with the data obtained from the 24-hour food consumption record and food consumption frequency questionnaire. The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between the index and dietary antioxidant capacity and to compare them with those of healthy individuals.

Metastatic Microsatellite-stable Colorectal Cancer

This Phase Ib trial studies the side effects and best dose of LB-100 when given with atezolizumab for the treatment of patients with metastatic microsatellite stable colorectal cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of the tumor to grow and spread. LB-100 has been shown to make anticancer drugs work better at killing cancer. LB-100 blocks a protein on the surface of cells called PP2A. Blocking this protein increases the stress signals for the tumor cells that express PP2A. Giving atezolizumab in combination with LB-100 may work better to treat metastatic colorectal cancer patients as the cancer cells that experience increased stress signals are more susceptible for the immunotherapy.

HS-CA102N-103 is a Phase 2, randomized, open label study to evaluate efficacy, safety, and tolerability of CA102N combined with trifluridine/tipiracil (TAS-102) compared to bevacizumab combined with TAS-102 in subjects with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) who failed the standard treatment (for eg, cancer that has relapsed after or is refractory to fluoropyrimidine, oxaliplatin and irinotecan-based chemotherapy).

Liver Metastasis Colon Cancer

The goal of this pilot clinical trial is to learn about the combination of immune boosting drugs and irreversible electroporation (IRE) in patients with colon cancer that has spread to the liver (metastasis). The main questions it aims to answer are: to document the rate of complications associated with combining IRE with immune boosting drugs. After one liver metastasis is treated with IRE and immune boosting drugs, what is the change in the size of the non-IRE-treated liver metastases? What is the immune response (measured in a blood sample) when IRE is combined with one or two types of immune boosting drugs?

Clinical Trial of All-trans-retinoic Acid, Bevacizumab and Atezolizumab in Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal Cancer

The main purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the good and the bad effects of all trans retinoic acid (ATRA), atezolizumab and bevacizumab as a possible treatment for advanced colorectal patients. Participants will be treated with the following combination of these drugs: ATRA will be given in a pill form to be taken twice a day at home for 7 days starting on day 1 of a cycle. Atezolizumab will be given through a vein in arm or through mediport over 60-90 minutes every 2 weeks in the outpatient chemotherapy infusion centers at UTSW. Bevacizumab will be given through a vein in arm or through mediport over 20-40 minutes every 2 weeks in the outpatient chemotherapy infusion centers at UTSW.

The primary aim of phase II CEIL study is to evaluate the efficacy of cetuximab and envafolimab plus mFOLFOXIRI versus cetuximab plus mFOLFOX6/FOLFIRI as first line treatment of patients with initially unresectable and previously untreated RAS/BRAF wild-type, MSS, left-side metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC), in terms of Progression-free Survival.
