Clarithromycin,Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone for Relapsed/Refractory Myeloma
Relapse/Refractory Multiple MyelomaThis phase II study investigating the efficacy and safety of a combination of biaxin, lenalidomide and dexamethasone in subjects with relapsed/refractory MM.
Melphalan, Total Marrow Irradiation, and Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation in Treating Patients...
Plasma Cell Leukemia in RemissionPlasma Cell MyelomaThis phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of melphalan and total marrow irradiation and how well they work with autologous stem cell transplantation in treating patients with high-risk multiple myeloma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as melphalan, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Total marrow irradiation is a type of radiation therapy and a form of total body irradiation that may deliver focused radiation to the major marrow sites where cancer cells reside. Giving chemotherapy and total-body irradiation before a peripheral autologous blood stem cell transplant helps kill any cancer cells that are in the body and helps make room in the patient's bone marrow for new blood-forming cells (stem cells) to grow. After treatment, stem cells are collected from the patient's blood and stored. More chemotherapy is then given to prepare the bone marrow for the stem cell transplant. The stem cells are then returned to the patient to replace the blood-forming cells that were destroyed by the chemotherapy.
Efficacy and Safety Study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in Combination With Daratumumab in Participants...
Multiple MyelomaThe purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in combination with daratumumab in participants with relapsed refractory multiple myeloma (rrMM). The primary outcome measure for this study is the assessment of Objective Response Rate (ORR) in participants with rrMM.
A Study of Venetoclax and ABBV-838 Combination Therapy With Dexamethasone in Participants With Multiple...
Multiple MyelomaThis is an open-label, multicenter clinical trial designed to evaluate the safety and potential efficacy of venetoclax and ABBV-838 combination therapy with dexamethasone in participants with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (MM) who have received 2 or more prior lines of therapy for multiple myeloma (MM). The study will consist of 2 arms: Arm A and Arm B (if applicable). Each arm will have a dose escalation and dose expansion portion.
Pneumococcal Vaccination of Multiple Myeloma Patients on Novel Agents
Multiple MyelomaPneumococcal Infection2 moreMultiple myeloma is an incurable blood cancer of plasma cells that occurs in older individuals. Novel agents (proteasome inhibitors, immunomodulatory agents) have substantially improved the overall response rates, progression-free survival and overall survival in patients with multiple myeloma. Patients with multiple myeloma are at high risk of developing life-threatening Streptococcus pneumoniae infections, while clinical efficacy and safety of conjugate pneumococcal vaccines in multiple myeloma patients receiving novel agents have not been studied before. The main aim of this study is to assess the clinical efficacy and safety of 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine in multiple myeloma patients treated with novel agents.
Frailty Score-guided Dosing of Lenalidomide, Dexamethasone and Daratumumab Induction Therapy
Multiple MyelomaThe purpose of this study is to determine if using a subject's baseline frailty score to guide the dosing of lenalidomide in a combination with dexamethasone and daratumumab (DRd lite).
Carfilzomib, Daratumumab, Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone as First Line Treatment in Multiple Myeloma...
Multiple MyelomaCarfilzomib in combination with lenalidomide, daratumumab and dexamethasone (KRDd) can induce profound clinical responses. The investigators want to observe the effectiveness of the quadruple therapy of carfilzomib, lenalidomide, daratumumab and dexamethasone on patients receiving 8 cycles of KRDd with autologous stem cell transplantation versus patients with 8 cycles of KRDd without autologous stem cell transplantation.
A Phase 3 Study of Siltuximab or Placebo in Combination With Velcade and Dexamethasone in Patients...
Multiple MyelomaThe purpose of this study is to determine if there is an improvement in progression-free survival (length of time during and after treatment in which a patient is living with a disease that does not get worse) when siltuximab is added to VELCADE and dexamethasone in subjects with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
Study of Vorinostat With Doxil and Bortezomib for Patients With Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma...
Multiple MyelomaThe purpose of this research study is to determine how multiple myeloma responds when the study drug vorinostat is added to the standard treatment of bortezomib and pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD). After participants complete the three drug combination and if their multiple myeloma has decreased, the investigators also want to learn what effects (both good and bad) when vorinostat and bortezomib are given to people with multiple myeloma over a longer period of time. This type of treatment is called 'Maintenance Therapy'.
Evaluation of Vertebral Compression Fracture Fixation With RF Kyphoplasty in Patients With Multiple...
Multiple MyelomaCompression Fracture of Vertebral ColumnThe objective of this post market clinical study is to collect prospective clinical data to confirm the efficacy of RF Kyphoplasty for the treatment of pathological fractures of the spine caused by multiple myeloma.
