Treatment of Cancer-Related Bone Pain by Using Bone-Targeted Radiation-Based Therapy (Sn-117m-DTPA)...

Castration-Resistant Prostate CarcinomaMetastatic Malignant Neoplasm in the Bone4 more

This phase II trial studies the effect of Sn-117m-DTPA on bone pain in patients with prostate cancer that has spread to the bones. Sn-117m-DTPA is a radioactive therapeutic agent that localizes to bones when given to patients. Sn-117m-DTPA may help reduce bone pain in patients with prostate cancer that has spread to the bones.

Adenosine Receptor Antagonist Combination Therapy for Metastatic Castrate Resistant Prostate Cancer...

Prostatic NeoplasmsCastration-Resistant4 more

This is a Phase 1b/2, open-label, multicenter platform trial to evaluate the antitumor activity and safety of etrumadenant (AB928)-based combination therapy in participants with metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).

Neoadjuvant Therapy of Abiraterone Plus ADT for High Risk Prostate Cancer

Prostate Cancer

High risk prostate cancer (PCa) had worse outcomes on radical treatment results, short-time oncological results, even cancer-specific survival, than those low or mediate risk PCa. Neoadjuvant treatment before radical prostatectomy had been proven to get some benefits on peri-operation results, especially on reduction of tumor volume and minimization of biochemical recurrence. This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) with abiraterone in neoadjuvant therapy for surgically resectable high-risk or very high-risk PCa.

Metastatic Hormone Naive Prostate Cancer

This phase 2 randomised clinical trial will compare the effectiveness of Lu-PSMA therapy followed by docetaxel chemotherapy versus docetaxel chemotherapy on its own in patients with newly-diagnosed high-volume metastatic hormone-naive prostate cancer (mHNPC).

Prostate CancerRadical Prostatectomy

In this research study, is assessing the feasibility of using an MR-guided implantable microdevice to measure tumor response to chemotherapy and other clinically relevant drugs in participants that have prostate cancer and are scheduled for a radical prostatectomy. The name of the study intervention involved in this study is: - Implantation of a MR-guided microdevice

Addition of Opaganib to Androgen Antagonists in Patients With mCRPC

Prostate Cancer

This is a Phase II study of the investigational drug opaganib. Patients with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who have experienced disease progression while receiving abiraterone or enzalutamide will receive Opaganib at either 250 mg or 500 mg by mouth twice a day continuously. Patients will continue on study drug until the development of progressive disease, intolerable toxicity, withdrawal of patient consent or other event as outlined in patient discontinuation.

Hypofractionated Focal Lesion Ablative Microboost in prostatE Cancer 2.0

Prostate AdenocarcinomaProstate Cancer1 more

The hypo-FLAME 2.0 study is a multicenter phase II study (n=124) investigating the feasibility and safety of a reduction in the overall treatment time of radiotherapy for prostate cancer patients, making use of hypofractionated stereotactic body radiotherapy with focal boosting. We are looking for the optimal overall treatment time for this treatment strategy in the Hypo-FLAME 2.0 trial. In this study the total treatment time will be halved (15 days) in comparison with the total treatment time in the former hypo-FLAME trial (29 days) (NCT02853110).

Dose-Escalation and Efficacy Study of LAE001/Prednisone Plus Afuresertib Patients With m-CRPC

Metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer

The combination treatment of protein kinase B (AKT) inhibitor, afuresertib, with androgen synthesis enzyme inhibitor, LAE001, may provide an effective treatment for metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (m-CRPC) patients who have progressed/drug resistant following prior standard care treatments of any anti-androgen. This study intends to identify the most appropriate combined doses of LAE001/prednisone and afuresertib in m-CRPC patients who have progressive disease or are intolerant of 2 prior standard treatments of any anti-androgen or anti-androgen treatment plus chemotherapy.

Darolutamide Augments Standard Therapy for Localised Very High-Risk Cancer of the Prostate

Prostate Cancer

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of darolutamide as part of adjuvant androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) with a luteinising hormone releasing hormone analogue (LHRHA) in men having radiation therapy for localised prostate cancer at very high risk of recurrence.

Bicalutamide With or Without Akt Inhibitor MK2206 in Treating Patients With Previously Treated Prostate...

Recurrent Prostate CarcinomaStage I Prostate Cancer AJCC v73 more

This phase II trial studies how well giving bicalutamide with or without Akt inhibitor MK2206 works in treating patients with previously treated prostate cancer. Androgens can cause the growth of prostate cancer cells. Antihormone therapy, such as bicalutamide, may lessen the amount of androgens made by the body. Akt inhibitor MK2206 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether bicalutamide is more effective with or without Akt inhibitor MK2206 in treating prostate cancer.
