A Patient and Provider Intervention to Address Health Disparities in Lung Cancer Screening
Lung CancerTo test the impact of a multilevel intervention on primary (provider-patient communication, intentions, and knowledge) and secondary (screening referrals and completion) outcomes.

Oxaliplatin in Combination With Capecitabine and Concurrent Radiation Therapy in Non-Small Cell...
CarcinomaNon-Small Cell LungThe purpose of this study is to determine the most suitable dose of Oxaliplatin that can be safely given in combination with a low fixed dose of Capecitabine and a limited volume of radiation in patients with non-small cell lung cancer.

Phase II Study of Therapy With PS 341 in Patients With Advanced Stage Non Small Cell Lung Cancer...
Non-small Cell Lung CancerThe purpose of this study is to develop new treatments that will hopefully result in the relief of symptoms and prolongation of life. For this reason, your doctors have offered you treatment with a new experimental drug called PS 341.

Chloroquine as an Anti-Autophagy Drug in Stage IV Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) Patients
Small Cell Lung CancerChloroquine might very well be able to increase overall survival in small cell lung cancer by sensitizing cells resistant to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Gated Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy and Concurrent Chemotherapy for Inoperable NSCLC
Non-small Cell Lung CancerRadiation therapy technology that allows increased radiation dose to the tumor while sparing healthy tissue will improve the balance between complications and cure.

Study of Docetaxel/Gemcitabine Followed by Chemo-radiotherapy (Chemo-RT), With or Without Consolidation...
Non Small Cell Lung CancerThe combination of chemotherapy with radiotherapy remains the standard of therapy for patients with stage III NSCLC. A recent phase II study has presented encouraging data regarding the administration of docetaxel as consolidation treatment after definitive concurrent chemo-radiotherapy.

Cisplatin/Irinotecan With Concurrent Radiation for Inoperable NSCLC
Lung NeoplasmsNon-Small Cell Lung CancerThis is a prospective, single institution phase II study, whose primary objective is to estimate the median and three year survival rate of non-small lung cancer patients with Stage IIIA and IIIB intra-thoracic disease which is referred to as "locally advanced" non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Maximum Tolerated Dose, Safety and Efficacy of Docetaxel / Cisplatin + STI571
Non-small Cell Lung CancerThis is a Phase 1/Phase 2 study of STI571 combined with docetaxel and cisplatin for treatment of patients with recurrent and metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). This research study has 2 parts to it. The first part (Phase 1) is called a dose-escalation. Not all subjects enrolled into this phase of the study will receive the same dose. The purpose of the dose-escalation is to determine the highest safe dose of STI571 that can be used in combination with docetaxel and cisplatin. That dose will be used in Phase 2.

Treating NSCLC Minimal Stage IV With Curative Intent
Non-small Cell Lung CancerIt is the hypothesis of this protocol that a subset of NSCLC patients with stage IVa disease can benefit from curative therapy and extends beyond the very limited subset of oligometastatic patients that have already been studied.

A Phase 2 Exploratory Study of Erlotinib and SNDX-275 in Participants With Non-small Cell Lung Carcinoma...
Non Small Cell Lung CancerTo evaluate the tumor responses to SNDX-275 (entinostat) in combination with continued erlotinib in participants with non-small Cell Lung Carcinoma (NSCLC) who are progressing on erlotinib.
