SHR-1210 Combined With Apatinib in Treatment of ED-SCLC After Failure of First Line Standard Therapy...

Small-cell Lung Cancer

This is a multi-center, open-label, phase II study of intravenous (IV) SHR-1210 at 200mg,q2w in combination with Apatinib at one dose (375mg). Comparison of 3 different dose schedules in subjects with extensive-stage disease small cell lung cancer. SHR-1210 is a humanized monoclonal antibody against Programmed death 1(PD-1). Apatinib is a new kind of selective Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2(VEGFR-2) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). The study is composed of two parts. Part 1 of the study will determine the safety and tolerability of SHR-1210 in combination with Apatinib in first 6 subjects of each arm. The second phase of treatment was carried out by selecting one group of administration mode and the tolerated dose of Apatinib. Part 2 of the study will determine the safety and efficacy of SHR-1210 in combination with Apatinib in 39 subjects.

Yorkshire Enhanced Stop Smoking Study

Lung cancer rates are higher in Yorkshire than the rest of the UK, and this is due to higher rates of smoking. Deaths from lung cancer can be reduced using regular lung scans (screening) and by helping people stop smoking. As well as detecting cancers, scans can also show evidence of damage to lungs (emphysema) and heart arteries (calcification). This study will test whether people can be encouraged to quit smoking by giving them pictures from their own scans showing possible lung and heart damage, along with information about how stopping smoking reduces their risk of cancer and heart attacks.

Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Stage IV

This is a multicenter, national, nonrandomized, phase II trial in subjects with nonsquamous NSCLC patients that have untreated asymptomatic BM. A pre-screening period using brain MRI for patients diagnosed with advanced non-squamous NSCLC EGFR/ALK wild type and ECOG PS 0-1 will be crucial to identify patients with asyntomatic BM. Forty patients will be recruited.

Small Cell Lung Cancer

This is a 2-part, multicenter, open-label, randomized study of dinutuximab and irinotecan versus irinotecan alone in subjects with relapsed or refractory small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Part 1 of the study involves intrasubject dose escalation to evaluate the safety and tolerability of dinutuximab in combination with irinotecan. Part 2 of the study is designed to determine whether dinutuximab plus irinotecan prolongs overall survival (OS) compared with irinotecan alone. Subjects in Part 2 will be randomized in a 2:2:1 fashion to 1 of 3 treatment groups: (A) irinotecan; (B) dinutuximab plus irinotecan; or (C) topotecan. Randomization will be stratified by duration of response to prior platinum therapy (relapse-free period <3 months or ≥3 months).
