A Study of Nipocalimab in Adult Participants With Active Lupus Nephritis
Lupus NephritisThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of nipocalimab versus placebo in participants with active Lupus Nephritis (LN).
LUPKYNIS US Registry Trial
Lupus NephritisThis registry is an observational study designed to assess the utilization and effectiveness of LUPKYNIS in adult patients with lupus nephritis (LN) in the United States (US).
Value of Uric Acid as Early Predictor of Lupus Nephritis
Uric AcidThe aim of the present work is to determine the role of uric acid as a predictor and prognostic factor in the development of lupus nephritis.
Comparing Mescaline Sodium Enteric-coated Tablets vs Morte-mescaline in the Treatment of Adult Lupus...
Lupus NephritisThe goal of this prospective, multicenter,real-world study is to To evaluate the efficacy and safety of mescaline sodium enteric-coated tablets versus morte-mescaline in the treatment of adult patients with lupus nephritis under real-life medical conditions. The main question it aims to answer are: Is the efficacy of mescaline sodium enteric-coated tablets in the treatment of adult patients with lupus nephritis not inferior to morti-mescaline? Participants will receive induction and maintenance treatment with mescaline sodium enteric-coated tablets and morte-mescaline.Then participants will be followed up at 60, 180, 270 and 540 days of treatment to assess the efficacy and safety of mescaline sodium enteric-coated tablets compared to morte-mescaline.
Evaluating the Safety of Myfortic (Mycophenolate Sodium) in Patients With Lupus Nephritis
Lupus NephritisThis is an open-label, prospective, single-arm, observational study in patients with Lupus nephritis (LN) who newly (i.e.,for the first time) received treatment of Enteric-coated Mycophenolate Sodium (EC-MPS).
Long-Term Voclosporin Treatment in Adolescent Subjects With Lupus Nephritis
Adolescent Lupus NephritisThe purpose of this study is to assess the long-term safety and tolerability of voclosporin for up to an additional 12 months following completion of treatment in the AUR-VCS-2020-03 study (VOCAL) in adolescents with active lupus nephritis.
Study to Assess Demographic, Pharmacologic, Biomarker, Clinical Features and Quality of Life (QoL)...
Systemic Lupus ErythematosusThis is a multicenter prospective study to assess clinical characteristics, demographics, treatment and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of lupus nephritis (LN) participants across 5 Gulf countries (United Arab Emirates [UAE], Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman).
Sirolimus in Treatment of Proteinuric Flares of Lupus Nephritis
Lupus NephritisImmunosuppression1 moreThis a single-centre, one-arm, open-label pilot study. Eligible patients with mild proteinuric flares of lupus nephritis Class III/IV±V are received sirolimus without changing previous immunosuppressive medication during 12-week follow-up. Primary Objective: To investigate the efficacy of sirolimus for mild proteinuric flares in patients with Class III/IV±V lupus nephritis Secondary Objective: To assess the safety and tolerability of sirolimus treatment for mild proteinuric flares in patients with Class III/IV±V lupus nephritis
SGLT2 Inhibitors Between Reno Protective Effects and Impact on Bone and Mineral Disease Among Lupus...
SGLT2 INHIBITORSLupus Nephritis1 moreThe goal of this Randomized, controlled trial in 100 patients with LN with an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of 25-75 ml/min/1.73m2. Diagnosis of LN was performed by renal biopsy, and all of the renal biopsies were carried out at urology and nephrology center. 1. The main questions it aims to answer are: Assess the role of sodium glucose co transporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) in regression of ongoing kidney and cardiac diseases among diabetic or non-diabetic patients with lupus nephritis (LN) under different immunosuppressive therapies. Investigate the impact of SGLT2i on bone and mineral metabolism in these patients. Participants will be randomized into two groups : Study group: will receive SGLT2i as add on drug or replace another drug according to the patient clinical situation, Dapagliflozin 10 mg will be used once daily with or without food. Control group: will be maintained on their medication.
Identification of the Causative Drug in Drug-induced Acute Interstitial Nephritis
Acute Interstitial NephritisDrug-Induced Interstitial NephritisDrug-induced acute interstitial nephritis (DAIN) is a rare entity characterized by acute renal failure linked to inflammation of the renal parenchyma secondary to allergenic drug exposure. Treatment is based primarily on the precise identification of the causative drug and its final elimination. Currently, the identification of the causative drug is based on clinical presumption. There is no test to formally identify the causative drug. On the other hand, in-vitro allergological tests (lymphocyte transformation test in particular) have been developed in the course of immuno-allergic drug toxiderma linked to delayed type IV hypersensitivity to identify the causal drug. These tests have not been studied during DAIN, but their value in drug-induced eruption is indisputable. The objective of our study is to determine whether in vitro allergy tests can identify the causative drug during DAIN. If the in vitro tests fail, they will be supplemented by allergological skin tests.
