A Dose Finding Study of TKM-080301 Infusion in Neuroendocrine Tumors (NET) and Adrenocortical Carcinoma...

CancerNeuroendocrine Tumors3 more

This study will be a Phase I/II, open-label, non-randomized, dose-finding trial conducted at multiple clinical centers. The study is designed to determine the safety, tolerability and PK of TKM-080301 in adult patients with solid tumors or lymphomas that are refractory to standard therapy or for whom there is no standard therapy. After the determination of the maximum tolerated dose this dose will be utilized in an expansion cohort or subjects with refractory neuroendocrine tumors (NET) or adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) tumors.

A Multicenter Study Evaluating Efficacy and Safety of 177Lu-DOTA-TATE Based on Kidney-Dosimetry...

Neuroendocrine TumorsLiver Metastases

By improved kidney dosimetry including biological effective dose and taking into account potential risk factors (especially for kidney toxicity), it might be possible to give an optimal and personalized treatment with 177Lu-DOTA-TATE to the patient with metastatic neuroendocrine tumor.

A Biological Study of Resveratrol's Effects on Notch-1 Signaling in Subjects With Low Grade Gastrointestinal...

Neuroendocrine Tumor

Resveratrol has been shown to activate a protein called Notch-1. Signaling of Notch-1 has been shown to prevent tumor cell growth. Resveratrol has also been shown to prevent growth of tumors in mice. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of resveratrol and Notch-1 on neuroendocrine tumor tissue and to examine how people with neuroendocrine tumors who take resveratrol for up to three months tolerate the product.

DOTA-TOC in Metastasized Neuroendocrine Tumors

Neuroendocrine Tumors

The investigators aim to explore the efficacy of [90Y-DOTA]-TOC and [177LuDOTA]-TOC therapy in advanced neuroendocrine cancer. Therefore, the investigators assess response, survival and long-term safety profile of systemic [90Y-DOTA]-TOC and [177LuDOTA]-TOC treatment in metastasized neuroendocrine cancer patients. Adverse events are assessed according to the criteria of the National Cancer Institute. Survival analyses are performed using multiple regression models.

Effect of Oral 5-HTP Intake on Urinary 5-HIAA Excretion

Carcinoid TumorsNeuroendocrine Tumors

This is a research study looking at the effect of 5-Hydroxy Tryptophan (5-HTP) on urine excretion of 5-Hydroxyindolacetic acid (5-HIAA). 5-HTP is a common over the counter product that is sold in natural food stores and via the Internet. Increased levels of 5-HIAA in the urine can be found in a specific type of cancer, called carcinoid tumor. This study will examine the effect of oral 5-HTP intake on 5-HIAA excretion. Understanding this effect may help to determine which tests should be done in a patient with increased 5-HIAA excretion who's also taking 5-HTP.

Gefitinib in Treating Patients With Progressive Metastatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

GastrinomaGlucagonoma7 more

This phase II trial is studying how well gefitinib works in treating patients with progressive metastatic neuroendocrine tumors. Gefitinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for their growth.

Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Lanreotide Autogel® in Chinese Participants With GEP-NETs...

Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor

This study will be conducted to support the registration of the lanreotide Autogel 120 mg formulation in China for the treatment of GEP-NETs and treatment of clinical symptoms of NETs. The study will include a screening period of up to 4 weeks followed by a 48-week intervention period. After completion of the main study period, approximately five participants will continue in a self/partner injection cohort with lanreotide Autogel 120 mg every 28 days for 24 weeks.

BEZ235 Phase II Trial in Patients With Advanced Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (pNET) After Failure...

Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (pNET)

This is a Phase II study in 2 stages, evaluating BEZ235 plus best supportive care (BSC) versus placebo plus BSC in patients with advanced pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) after failure of mTOR inhibitor therapy. Study design: This was a Phase II, two-stage, multicenter study, where Stage 1 was a single arm, open label design and Stage 2 was planned to be a randomized, double-blind study. However, at the end of Stage 1, the futility was met and hence the Stage 2 was not initiated.
