18F-AmBF3-TATE PET/CT for Imaging NET Patients
Neuroendocrine TumorsNeuroendocrine tumours (NETs) are generally slow growing, but some can be aggressive and resistant to treatment. Compared to healthy cells, the surface of these tumor cells has a greater number of special molecules called somatostatin receptors (SSTR). Somatostatin receptor scintigraphy and conventional imaging are used to detect NETs. This study proposes 18F-AmBF3-TATE positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is superior to current imaging techniques. The goal is to evaluate the biodistribution and safety of 18F-AmBF3-TATE PET/CT for neuroendocrine tumour imaging.
Nutrition in Gastrointestinal Tumors

Especially patients with cancer of the gastrointestinal tract are often affected by malnutrition. Therefore, this study aims to examine changes in nutritional status of patients with cancer of the gastrointestinal tract during chemotherapy. Findings of this study will help to improve nutritional treatment of patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Retrospective Analysis of Patients Re-treated With Lutetium-177 DOTATATE (Lutathera®)
Neuroendocrine TumorThis was a retrospective non-interventional study evaluating the medical records of patients with neuroendocrine tumor (NET) re-treated with lutetium-177 DOTATATE at a single United States institution - the Excel Diagnostics & Nuclear Oncology Center in Houston, Texas. Initial treatment was defined as the initial regimen of up to 4 doses of Lutetium-177 DOTATATE received by each patient; re-treatment was defined as any additional dose(s) of lutetium-177 DOTATATE given after the patient progressed following the initial treatment, with a minimum time interval of 6 months between the initial treatment and re-treatment. The study period was from 01 January 2010 to 30 June 2021. The index date was the date of the first ever treatment with lutetium-177 DOTATATE, and the index re-treatment date was the date of the first re-treatment dose of lutetium-177 DOTATATE received. The index (identification) period was from 01 July 2010 to 31 December 2020 to account for minimum 6-month baseline and follow-up periods. Patients were followed from the index date to the occurrence of one of the following events (whichever came first): Date of death - the date at which a patient was reported in the database as having died Last month active - the last recorded mention of the patient in the dataset End of data window - end of the dataset Patient characteristics were assessed at both the index date and the index re-treatment date. Real-world effectiveness and safety outcomes were also assessed from the index date and from the index re-treatment date.
HRQoL During PRRT in Patients With NETs
Neuroendocrine TumorsQuality of Life1 moreNeuroendocrine tumours (NETs) can arise in different locations in the body, and may give rise to hormonal symptoms, which may affect the patients' health-related quality of life (HRQoL). Up to four cycles of peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) have been shown effective for symptom alleviation and prolonging survival. The aim of this study is to assess the patient's perspective, regarding changes in their HRQoL during, and at long-term follow-up after, PRRT. Patients with NET will rate their HRQoL before PRRT cycles one and four, and 1-8 years after PRRT. The patients' HRQoL will be compared to a matched reference population. The investigators hope that this study will reveal specific care needs for patients wiht NET and may provide information that will make it possible to deliver a more person-centered care.
89Zr-bevacizumab PET Imaging in Patients With Neuroendocrine Tumors
Neuroendocrine TumorsThis is a pilot study for evaluation of 89Zr-bevacizumab PET imaging as predictive biomarker during treatment with everolimus in patients with neuroendocrine tumors. Patients with progressive disease during the last year will receive treatment with everolimus 10 mg/day orally and 89Zr-bevacizumab PET imaging will be performed before start of treatment and after 2 and 12 weeks of treatment in the first three patients. If the scan after 2 weeks of treatment is already informative further patients will not undergo a scan at 12 weeks. A scan is considered already informative if both scans show at least 30% decrease in uptake in case of response, or at least 30% increase in uptake in case of disease progression. Four days before the scan patients will be injected intravenously 37 MBq, protein dose 5 mg 89Zr-bevacizumab. At day 1, day 15 and day 99, PET images will be made for visualization and quantification of VEGF in the tumor lesions and blood will be drawn for determination of angiogenesis and mTOR pathway related biomarkers.

Pancreatic CancerNeuroendocrine Tumors3 moreEndoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration biopsy (EUS-FNA) is a reliable, safe, and effective technique for obtaining samples from the GI wall lesions and from organs adjacent to the GI tract (pancreas, nodes...).Needles available for EUS-FNA include 25G, 22G and 19G. Some studies have suggested that the 25G needle could be equal or even better than the 22G needle. The BXN system and neddles are is a newly developed for EUS-FNA. This trial is developed for testing the accuracy of the new neddle system for EUS-FNA and for comparing the two needles types, 25G and 22G.
