A Safety and Efficacy Study of AGN-214868 in Patients With Postherpetic Neuralgia
NeuralgiaPostherpeticThis is a safety and efficacy study of AGN-214868 in patients with postherpetic neuralgia (PHN).
Donepezil Compared to Placebo in Patients With Chronic Neuropathic Pain
Neuropathic PainBased on laboratory studies, donepezil will improve pain relief more than placebo in patients with chronic neuropathic pain who are currently taking gabapentin or pregabalin.
Eslicarbazepine Acetate as Therapy in Diabetic Neuropathic Pain
Painful Diabetic NeuropathyThe primary objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of Eslicarbazepine acetate (ESL) as therapy in subjects with Diabetic Neuropathic Pain (DNP) over a 15 week treatment phase.
Pregabalin Versus Placebo In The Treatment Of Neuropathic Pain Associated With HIV Neuropathy
NeuropathyThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of pregabalin compared to placebo in reducing neuropathic pain associated with HIV neuropathy.
Clinical Management of Neuropathic Pain With Ramelteon
Neuropathic PainThis proposal is to conduct a double-blinded, randomized, placebo-controlled, crossover clinical study to examine the hypothesis that ramelteon would reduce pain score and improve functional status in subjects with neuropathic pain.
Pregabalin and Orofacial Neuropathic Pain
Neuropathic PainOrofacial PainThe purpose of this study is to determine whether pregabalin can decrease pain and improve quality of life in patients who have nerve pain on the mouth or the face
Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) for Neuropathic Pain of Back or Lower Extremity
Intractable Neuropathic PainPain2 moreThe primary objective of this study is to compare the efficacy and patient preference for spinal cord stimulation (SCS) using the Precision device with the electrode array placed at T7 versus placement at T8. Eligible patients will have chronic intractable pain in the back or lower extremities and will have independently elected SCS as the next line of therapy. There is some anecdotal evidence that the coverage of the paresthesia resulting from T7 placement is preferable to that obtained by the more commonly used T8 placement but there has been no study to support this observation.
Safety and Efficacy of AGN201781 in Neuropathic Pain
NeuralgiaThis study will explore the safety and efficacy of AGN201781 in patients with postherpetic neuralgia or post-traumatic peripheral neuralgia
Trial of Analgesia With Lidocaine or Extended-release Oxycodone for Neuropathic Pain Treatment in...
Neuropathic PainChronic Pain1 moreThis study will determine whether treatment with an extended-release opioid or topical lidocaine is effective in relieving distal symmetric lower extremity burning pain associated with multiple sclerosis (MS). If treatment with topical lidocaine is efficacious, it will have important implications for understanding this chronic pain syndrome, which is widely assumed to be caused by central nervous system pathology.
Paracetamol and Neuropathic Pain
Neuropathic PainThe aim of this study is to evaluate the analgesic effect of paracetamol in patients suffering from pain with a peripheral neuropathic component in the presence of their usual treatment.
