Effect of CPAP Therapy on Molecular Breath Patterns in Patients With OSA
Obstructive Sleep ApneaDetermination of changes in molecular breath patterns in OSA patients, naïve for OSA treatment before and after one month of CPAP therapy by untargeted, secondary electrospray ionisation-high resolution mass spectrometry (SESI-HRMS). Furthermore, breath patterns will be assessed for correlation and association to clinical outcomes such as change in OSA severity, sleepiness, and blood pressure.
Antihypertensive and PAP Treatment in Obstructive Sleep Apnea Patients With Hypertension (AHPAP)...
Obstructive Sleep ApneaHypertension5 moreThe investigators will perform a long term registry based prospective analysis on incidence of major cardiovascular events or death in hypertensive patients with obstructive sleep apnea . Effects of PAP (positive airway pressure) compliance, antihypertensive medication and blood pressure control will be investigated in the study.
Safety and Performance Study of the Nyxoah SAT System for Treating OSA
Obstructive Sleep ApneaA prospective open-label, single treatment study to assess the safety and the performance of the Nyxoah SAT system for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Efficacy of Aerosal® in the Treatment of Sub-Obstructive Adenotonsillar Hypertrophy and Related...
Sleep ApneaObstructiveThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of Aerosal® compared to a placebo treatment in the prognosis of sub-obstructive adenotonsillar hypertrophy present for at least six months.
Clinical Trial of Desmopressin on Nocturia in Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Patients
NocturiaObstructive Sleep ApnoeaThe purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of desmopressin on symptoms of nocturia in patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA). The improvement of sleep quality and the quality of life will be measured.
Apnex Clinical Study of the Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation (HGNS®) System to Treat Obstructive Sleep...
Obstructive Sleep ApneaThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the benefits and risks of hypoglossal nerve stimulation with the Apnex Medical Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation (HGNS) System as a potential therapeutic option for individuals with moderate to severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) that have failed or do not tolerate positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy.
Nasal Expiratory Resistance in Patients With Sleep Apnea and Expiratory Flow Limitation
Obstructive Sleep ApneaObstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is inherently site-specific. In a physiological controlled intervention study, the investigators seek to determine whether applying expiratory resistance can acutely improve ventilation and sleep in patients with expiratory flow limitation (EFL).
CALLSAS Study: Effect of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure Treatment for Obstructive Apnea on...
Sleep ApneaObstructiveContinuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment improves sleepiness, depression and social activities in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This evolution can be captured from changes in phone usage habits coupled with a mobile-based services. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of CPAP treatment on phone usage habits in OSA patients.
Inspire® Upper Airway Stimulation System
Obstructive Sleep ApneaThe purpose of this post-market study is to assess safety and effectiveness of Inspire Upper Airway System (UAS) in a commercial setting. This study will provide additional clinical evidence of Inspire UAS for treatment of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) using a randomized controlled trial design.
Systemic Inflammation and Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome: Effect of Atorvastatin
Obstructive Sleep Apnea SyndromeThe aim of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effect of Atorvastatin on the endothelial function improvement during the obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) after 3 months of treatment, by a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, multi-center study. An interim analysis will be performed when 25 patients per group will be included.
